Just wanted I wanted!
I make homemade butter, and it can make a huge mess. There was little to no mess when using this splash guard. I like how it has the pop out pour opening. And it fit very well on my kitchen aid mixer. Well made, easy to clean, easy to use, and exactly what I was hoping for!

ok i guess
it does the job, fits the bowl well but the little cover where u can put ingredients in keeps popping off and does not sit well. i bought it mainly to use when i shred chicken, helps keep it in the bowl at high speeds

Was going to return them
I was planning on returning these because it doesn't fit real securely on bowl. The ingredient opening lid can get knocked out of place REALLY easily and center cup isn't deep enough to use it as a dust protector. ( but I ended up dripping grease on the box they came in and not sure if they can return like that.)

It Works!
I bought this to replace the KitchenAid version, which made a mess of my kitchen.This one works well. It's a little difficult to put on the bowl, but once you figure it out, it fits snuggly. I tested it with water half way up the beater (about 4 cups), and gradually ran the mixer up to the highest (10) speed. It didn't spray out of the edges at all. And at the highest speed, there was a little spray coming out of the center. I used the pour spout to fill the bowl with water, and it worked well. It's a little small to pour in dry ingredients, but I haven't tried that yet. I'm looking forward to trying it with an actual recipe. So far, I'm very happy with it.

Don't buy this if you have a 5 quart bowl
I don't understand why the information said it's between 4.5 - 5 quarts. It's literally 4.5 quarts. Don't buy this if your stand mixer bowl size is 5 quarts.
