Real relief for inflammation from my autoimmune condition
I have mixed connective tissue disease and deal with a lot of inflammation as a result. I’ve tried different cod liver oils and this one is the one that’s actually made a difference for me. I take two a day and I can tell when I’m consistent with it versus when I’m not. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone dealing with inflammation.

Hip Joint Pain Relief
Now in my 70s I remember being a dedicated user of Carlson cod liver oil for a decade or more. Every day I took a spoon of the liquid -- it had a lemony flavor, but for some reason I stopped taking it (and other supplements) once I retired from work. It's important at my age to maintain bone health and my primary care doctor was encouraging me to take calcium supplements. After a couple of weeks I decided to also add some omega-3 to the mix. I stumbled upon the Carlson gel caps ("Gems") which I decided I would prefer nowadays rather than taking the liquid form. What a difference the cod liver oil is making. For several months I had been feeling a bit of pain in my left hip joint (mild to occasionally sharp) during my daily exercise walks, but after just a couple of days of taking the Carlson Gems, the pain began to alleviate. At the risk of being a simpleton LOL, I totally credit the cod liver oil as it was a gradual improvement as soon as I began the supplements. Of course this isn't scientific. If I experience something different as time progresses, I will update my review.

Great product. Easy to digest.
I don't eat a lot of fish but wanted to use this for my Omega 3's. The capsules are large but I have now difficulty taking them with water. I haven't felt any discernable difference but we took cod liver oil as children and I got away from taking once reaching adulthood. Just trying to utilize best products for my continued health.
