Hi there. No. Ports on DJI RS 3 Pro are not waterproof or dustproof. Please stay away from water and dust during use to avoid damaging the device.

How do you power this without the handle directly attached? I see people do it.

you need a ronin power supply baseplate, which will replace the ronin handle. Tilta and smallrig both make them. this will allow the moving gimbal to mount to almost anything with a quater inch. THe powersupply baseplate has a port for a cable extension to v mount, goldmount or any other power source large enough to move the motors.
