16-Piece Locking Lug Master Key Set, SAE and Metric Wheel Lock Removal Kit for Removing Lock Lug Nuts on Aftermarket Wheels

After hunting around all the auto parts store for a 6 spline 45/64, which every one of them was missing at 6 different stores, i decided to get the master set from here. Very fast shipping and had exactly the keys I needed. Would highly recommend. The only downside is the case, which feels a little cheap, but I'll be removing them from it and casting it in foam instead

The media could not be loaded. If you are looking at reviews for a set like this then you are more than likely to have experienced or witnessed the pain of losing a lock nut for your wheels. First, let me start by saying I feel your pain!Let's be honest here, you find yourself stressed on the side of the road after a blowout or flat tire. You give the wheel lock to your RoadSide assistance provider and forget to make sure he hands it back to you. Or you go to a local vendor and they forget to return it. Or you simply flat out lost it! No matter the case, this set will more than likely be able to help you.Let me introduce you to this wheel lock removal set. I was able to find both of my lock styles included in this set. It comes in a nice case to help keep everything organized and at your tip when needed. The hinges are plastic and molded along with the case but seem pretty standard.The bits themselves are strong enough to be used with an impact and have a good weight to them. Time will tell about the labeling on them as they are printed vs laser etched. I would have preferred laser etched to ensure long-term identification and not have to rely on the already compromised label but it is not a deal breaker for me. The sockets are thin-wall so it should be compatible with many of the aftermarket wheel requirements. These are ANSI rated so you know the quality should be there.If I would have any negative comment to report it would only be the fact that there was some machining oil residue left on the set that soaked into the upper label on the inside of the box. You can see in the pictures I've uploaded a stain that will surely lead to the demise of the label. The intention of the label is good and the label is coated with plastic to help prevent this but it failed in this case. There can also be seen some scrubbing marks where some weight on top of the case may have forced some rubbing into the label as well.But let's be honest here, I am not here to tell you about the label but about the locks themselves which seem great. I do not have experience from a shop/commercial use of the product but I can tell you from a DIY/Home/Hobby level enthusiast, these worked out great for me.I hope this review helped you. Did not use an impact gun on the socket and it tore like a piece of paper. They are the same if not worse quality than some of the single sockets you can buy on here. Very thin walled, will probably shatter with an impact gun. Pictured is the ratchet I used to turn the socket attached to the wheel lock socket. Buy at own risk.

I am a professional auto technician and use tools on a daily basis both at work and at home. Master wheel lock kits like this one saves me time from rummaging through a customer vehicle looking for their lug key.**Two important notes: 1) This kit includes lug keys for AFTERMARKET specialty lugs only. If you are expecting a kit to remove FACTORY WHEEL LOCKS, this will not help you. 2) This kit as with others does not include the two sizes of Bimecc 10 spline keys, I wish it did but have not found one yet that does**This RIMKOLO locking lug kit appears to be of good quality and very comparable to other 16 piece kits I've owned or used. The molded storage case closes and latches nicely with slide latches and the keys themselves are made nice. There are no rough edges or crude manufacturing marks. I highly recommend using a socket and breaker bar to loosen the lugs as these thin sockets can crack easily with high powered air or electric tools are used.I am giving this kit 5 stars considering the combined quality of the case and the sockets themselves. If you use them properly they should last a long time. I will not deduct a star for the lack of the 10 spline keys as no other kit in this class includes them either.

I have some very expensive aftermarket wheels on my truck, and they came with a "key" that I keep in the truck for whenever I need to take it in for tire or wheel maintenance. Over the course of years, the head of my original key is very marred by the overzealous teenagers that all of the wheel and tire shops seem to hire. You know the ones; it is the same teens that use an air tool to remove an oil drain plug at the oil change places...never go there. The 3/4 in this set is the absolute perfect match to my original key. It is the exact same in heft, length, and the side wall is even ever so slightly thicker than my original. I am very pleased. Plus, in addition to having the key to fit my application, this kit provided me with 15 other options so that I can help my friends. Couldn't ask for more. Oh yeah, it also has the sizes printed on them. My original never had any size data on it, so I never knew what size it was until now. This is a great kit with a very decent case to keep them organized as well.

If you’ve ever lost a wheel lock key, you know how panic stricken one can get!I went to the dealership to have my car serviced and they lost the lock key. I didn’t know until the next service! If I needed to change a tire on the side of the road that would have been bad.I looked all over for the lock key on eBay and Amazon. After finding out I needed to buy the full set of wheel locks to get the key I lost it! Literally!Finding this set was a gift from the heavens and I now have spares of all the lock keys I own.Btw the dealership found my key 8 months later and returned it. But that was 8 months later!!!If you’re reading reviews, buy this set!!It has them all, and they are solid quality!!!Impact rated for sure!They come in a nice solid case too so you won’t be losing any of these!Great find!
