- This machine is designed to operate on 115-volt electrical systems only. NOT FOR USE in countries that operate on 220-volt electrical systems!
- HIGH PERFORMANCE: Each All-U-Need lapidary polisher is installed with a powerful 1/4 hp, heavy-duty, direct-drive permanent magnet motor with sealed ball bearings. The motor is variable speed and can be adjusted from 800 rpm up to 3,400 rpm, allowing you to work at your own pace. The coolant reservoir holds about a pint of water. This flat lapidary machine comes with a 1/2" arbor and accepts backing plates that have a 1/2" arbor hole, making it a versatile rock polisher and stone grinder.
- PORTABLE MACHINE: This flat lap cabbing machine is a lightweight, portable machine that works anywhere. It's constructed with ABS plastic that is rustproof and easy to clean. The All-U-Need has a small footprint and measures 10" X 10" X 12". A: If these discs have a 1/2" arbor hole and weigh less than 2lbs, then yes

**Q: Can you use both sides of backing pads at same time**
A: We do not recommend this, as the backing plate can get off balance.

**Q: Can I use this lap and polisher for pieces of steel, nickel, or other metals?**
A: It's more for lapidary work, drips water onto diamond discs. Try 3M fiber polishing wheels (6" x 1" wide) on a bench grinder. They work great on any metal.
