TLDR, my dog was diagnosed with epilepsy. Metal crates are very common but I didn't think much about it being made out of metal until he was diagnosed.One night he had an episode in his crate with this padding inside. He goes through both focal and grand mal seizures. That means he shakes and convulses when he's having a seizure. While in his episode he smashes, I mean SMASHES, his head repeatedly into his crate where the locks are. If it wasn't for this padding, he 100% cut his eyes out. But he didn't because of this padding.The following night, he had explosive diarrhea in his crate because of a side effect of his medicine. It was bad, really really bad. He had it all over the walls and floor. I got him cleaned up and the next day I cleaned this. 5 minutes outside with the garden hose and it was cleaned. Liquid just pools up and stays on the top, it doesn't seep in. So when it came time to clean it was a breeze. But because it's so hydrophobic, it will have any liquid run off the sides and under the crate. So if you don't have a tray under the bedding/crate in general, you'll have a very messy situation under the crate. Not a fault of this product but a testament to how good it is.I understand my use is very specific, but I don't care. I require this for anyone with dogs who have epilepsy. It goes above and beyond.

I hadn't even finished tying in the navy bumpers before our tired 2 month old goldendoodle, Roxy, crawled in on her own to lay down. This was after days of trying and failing to get her to go into the metal crate on her own. It does a good job of making the harsh metal crates cozy like a soft crate.We plan to use soft crates, and Roxy loves to relax and sleep in them when they are open, but the moment i close them, she happily goes to town on the mesh doors. I think she's just curious, and her paws bite so well on the mesh she finds it fun and just keeps going. So i bought her a metal crate, just to use for crate training. However, no matter how i lured her inside, she just wouldn't stay, and she wouldn't go in on her own and make it her home.Then I installed this bumper set and boom, suddenly she crawled in and flopped down all on her own. She was actually in the way of me installing the bumper, and didn't even mind me messing around getting it tied into place around her. I tossed the cover over, and she was out like a light in her new cozy home.However, given the price of the metal crate + this bumper set, it makes a plastic crate seem more attractive. I went metal for a harder crate because it stores flat and is cheaper, since we plan to only use it temporarily until I get her into soft crates. However, I suspect a plastic crate would be more naturally cozy and she might have taken to it without a $100 set like this.

I love this for my furbaby, the padding makes it so snug and comfortable, I did purchase an additional flat dog bed just because I felt the one that came with it was a little less cushy, but it would've been fine without it. It has a clean feel and look to it, I highly recommend it!

The cover material is very think fabric. It also didn’t come with a front cover which crate covers that I’ve bought in the past has always had the flap to cover the kennel completely. The bumpers and mat are nice. Wish the actual cover had more secure ties to it other than the two.

It’s Great. My pup feels very secure and cozies up on the wall padding. Material does not smell like chemicals like everything else on Amazon, which is really, really refreshing.I didn’t feel like I was putting my pup in a chemical chamber (I trie led super washing the other ones too, all cheap unhealthy Chinese junk).The only star I docked (would have been 0.5 stars) is that the Velcro system isn’t great if your pup messes with things. If it could secure outside at the bottom of the crate so she can’t rip it off, that’d be amazing, but really, it’s well made and though PRICEY, it’s the only one on here that didn’t stink up my room

When received the pet dreams crate bundle I washed everything on gentle and cold wash. There are no odors. I just wanted to wash everything. The crate cover is about 1/2 inch short. The bumpers and pad are perfect! I like that the bumper protect them against metal cage. As far as performance goes time will tell and I will do update. I recommend getting this for your crates. I am happy I purchased this for our dogs.

This item was just as I was hoping it would be. I was somewhat skeptical after reading some of the other reviews.It is made of good quality, durable-looking material. The pad was thicker than I expected, and makes for a comfortable resting place. The wall pads did require some thoughtful placement, but the Velcro was sufficient to secure it, and it has stayed in place just fine. All in all, it took me less than 10 minutes to completely assemble (including crate set-up).I have a very sweet-tempered dog, so destruction of this product is not an issue. We don't usually crate our dog, because she is so mild mannered, and does well on her own.I bought this because I we are going on vacation in a few months, and the house we are renting requires your dog to be crated while you are away. I wanted a place that would help to easy anxiety in a strange place. I wanted to create a comfortable "den" to leave our dog in while we were gone from the house.I would highly recommend this to anyone who is wanting to "dress up" the look of their crate or wants to make the crate more comfortable for their dog.I would not recommend if your dog is prone to chewing things up while you're away. I'm not sure it's made to withstand that kind of abuse.Overall, very pleased with quality and value.

Not worth the price. Low quality items that in reality shouldn’t cost more than $30 all together. At what is being charged you would expect a crate to be included. Don’t waste your money on this.
