Finally working mount!
To be honest I’m glad the mounting bracket finally works, will update if it breaks but so far looks good value for money but the lock is a bit small

Very sturdy U lock
Rubber coating is useful sp it doesn't scratch the paint of your bike. Be vary of the U size suitable for thin frames. Overall great.

Great Beginner Lock
At £20, it won't resist angle grinders, but it might bolt cutters. It looks and feels like more expensive D-locks, hopefully, it might dissuade thieves.I don't use the mount bracket, I find it more convenient to simply lock it directly to the frame during a ride, as it stays in place.I measured it to weigh a very light 828 grams, and have a 14mm thickness which is just about acceptable.The wrapping is soft enough around the lock. The anti-rain cover is great.The main problem is that some bike parking tubes are too thick for this lock, but most are fine.Locking and unlocking is a fast blast compared to a chain.I overall recommend ValueMax to anyone who wants to try a budget option to get a feel for a D-lock before buying a more expensive angle grinder-resistant option.

Best value for money
Small but not too small. Lighter than others and still protective enough. I like the cover for the keyhole against dust and moisture. The mount didn't seem too sturdy at first but stood the test of 40km/h on British potholes so I'm happy with the purchase.
