PO-045-TORXPLUS Tools Deburring External Chamfer Tool, Tungsten Blade, Deburring Drill Bit, Remove Burr Tools for Fit 1/8 inch-3/4 inch(3mm-19mm)

I've never used one of these deburrers before, but this particular one showed no visible wear after deburring/chamfering both ends of 8 lengths of Ø6mm stainless steel round bar. I followed the recommendations for speed, used cutting lubricant, and held the bars firmly in an engineers' vise. There is only one contradiction I noticed. The tool works best if the end of a round bar is free of burrs! Start off slow and be prepared to stop and start again if your drill jumps around a bit. I imagine the deburrer would work best if both the bar and tool were mounted in chucks on a lathe, but if I had a lathe, this tool would be unnecessary.

I recently got into pro-press pipe fittings. Sometimes when I use my autocut pipe cutter it mushrooms the outside of the pipe. You can use a manual chamfer tool for this, but it's time consuming and tedious. I tried this and at first was getting overly aggressive results.....(I put it in an impact gun). I then put it in a standard drill at low speed and light pressure and it does the job beautifully! Time and wrist saver. Works well for me!

Ya, this works ok. Don't press too hard or else the blades dig in too fast. You have to start out very lightly but it does get the job done.

HAD A FEW DAMAGED THREADS I COULDN'T USE A DIE ON. ATE THROUGH THE HARDEN STEEL BUT CHIPPED A BLADE. THEY REPLACED UNIT. SHOULD BE REALLY GOOD ON SOFTER STEEL. USE A DRILL AND NOT AN INPACT DRIVER PER INSTRUCTIONS.
