Functionality: These are pretty well made, I did not experience the same issues as others that have reported with excessive play in the tightening mechanism. Accuracy: I took 1 star off simply because the inside calipers have a slight ripple defect, perhaps when these were ground to shape/heated and are not entirely even. Not a big deal for me, a simple adjustment in the vice is all it took to even the caliper out.
