Considering the low price, it is surprisingly well made and of high quality steel. It is sharp and very useful to cut bandages, fabric, etc.

I purchased these to cut my dressings after surgery. They cut beautifully,, well, compared to the scissors I was using. I have no idea if they will go blunt fast or slow or not go blunt for some time... only time will tell but I have a lot of dressings to cut in half yet. They are very easy to hold and use. The construction, size, shape etc of them and being all metal makes sterilising them a doddle. Easy to use for my small girly hand. Not too heavy but not flimsy or too light. I would say they are about the length of my girly hand. I use to cut both my new, fresh dressings and the old dressing off my surgical wound and they work very well for me. Cant comment on longevity yet as ive not long had them.
