This was a direct fit for my 2019 f250. It installed in less than a minute. Great quality and it worked great. I tested it and it works great. hoping this fixes my intermittent trailer disconnected / connected issue I have been having.

I just bought a 2013 F150 Ford with a damaged trailer connector. Many of the wires were broken and corroded and the wiring harness connector that plugs into the back of the receptacle was damaged beyond repair. This kit has the double receptacle for 4 and 7 pin plugs, plus the mating connector for the vehicle wiring harness. It snaps right in to the OEM bracket and holds firmly. The receptacle covers have stout springs that provide a good seal when closed. The connectors wires are a heavier gauge than the truck wiring harness and long enough to allow me to remove several inches of damaged wire and still have a lot of extra wire. Some of the wire colors don't match the OEM colors, but OEM colors don't match each other. The included instructions were easy to understand...I just had to match the connectors wires with the OEM wire in the same position on the plug. I connected the spliced wires with adhesive lined butt connectors that you heat to shrink.. the adhesive forms a water tight seal arround the wires. I then covered the connectors with adhesive lined shrink tubing to give extra protection. It's been on for 2 months now and works perfectly. All in all a great product at a reasonable price. I would definitely buy it again.

This is a nice integrated solution for having two different types of trailer wire harness connection without having adapters or multiple connectors on your tow vehicle. Most small trailers use the flat connector while travel and horse trailers, etc. use the 7 pin connector. This covers both without adapters. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it takes a rather large oval shaped cutout to install it. I don't like hangers below the bumper so I always install connectors in the bumper. The shape of this unit makes it a little more difficult. If you drill two holes with a holesaw at the outer ends of the connector then join them with a sabre saw the problem is solved but on heavy steel bumpers, that can be challenging. Still, I'd do it again to have one nice, simple and neat connector on my tow vehicle

This fit my 2021 Chevy Silverado WT perfect! Underneath description it says product will not fit, it does and perfect. Took longer to find the flashlight for installation. Use a small flathead screwdriver, or what I used a small nail polish/pry tool remove existing cap from truck, remove circular female wiered socket from cap, plug into new component, plug component into bumper done. I pushed and held the trailer button while the truck was on and had power! Was told that I would have to bring two dealer in order to get power to wires, again untrue could not be more happier with a product that said it would not fit my truck, and was told I would not have power if it did. This is not a loose fit it is very professional looking works perfect and would recommend this to anybody that has a fleet of trucks or just a personal if there's a cap with wires on the back this product will fit your Chevy Silverado mine is a 2021 WT style
