Travel in Style with a Durable, Spacious, and Easy-to-Maneuver Suitcase! 🌍🧳💪
TLDR: Lightweight yet spacious suitcase, durable and glides smoothly on various surfaces. 🧳✈️👍 I'm thoroughly impressed with this suitcase's capacity. Despite its lightweight and unassuming appearance, it's a packing powerhouse. I'm quite the experienced packer and tend to bring a lot, including my hefty steel-toed boots, yet this suitcase accommodates it all with room to spare. Its durability is another standout feature. The sleek design belies its ruggedness, perfectly balancing style and sturdiness. The wheels are a dream, effortlessly gliding over a range of surfaces and the suitcase's stability means it rarely, if ever, tips over. When it comes to luggage, Samsonite offers a wide range, but this particular line scores high in durability, which is a key factor for me. Plus, it fits comfortably within my budget. I'm a firm believer in the principle of 'you get what you pay for', especially knowing how rough airlines can be on luggage. Opting for a well-constructed suitcase rather than just the cheapest option was important to me. Overall, this suitcase strikes the perfect balance between quality construction and functional design, making it a reliable travel companion.

Bad reviews are WRONG! This is a great suitcase!
I needed a new lightweight suitcase on wheels for an international trip. I did A LOT of research and was surprised the the reviews on Amazon for Samsonite suitcases were so negative; multiple other sites had good reviews, so I decided I should write a positive one. I bought the medium sized piece for a winter trip to Germany. I packed a a lot heavy, thick clothing including boots and never had to use the expandable feature. The separate zipped sides kept everything in place and the netting with two pockets was very helpful. It rolled easily over concrete, and fairly easily over gravel and cobblestone streets. It survived airplanes, baggage handling in the States and Germany, trains, busses and going up and down over 20 sets of stairs with no problems. It did not dent or scratch like so many others complained about. (Makes me wonder what airlines they fly and/or what they do with their luggage, like sit on the sides of it?!) The sticky residue from airline luggage tracking stickers and the rubber smudges from the luggage conveyor belts all came off in less than 30 seconds with GooGone and a paper towel. The handle does seem a little wobbly at times, but that is minor. I love the adjustable height feature of the handle. and the TWO fixed handles on the top and side, especially since I am 66 years old and only 5'3". I was able to lift, load and maneuver my suitcase myself throughout my trip. I bought my son a different set of Samsonite luggage 14 months ago that has made over 30 trips, including two international one, and both pieces still look brand new. He has had NO problems with either piece. I am very pleased with luggage and am looking forward to taking it on a two week trip to England and Scotland in June.

Great value for the $92
Update 1/5/17: Still going strong, and I still enjoy it. Have used it on one international and at least five domestic round trips since I purchased it. More scuff marks but as I wrote below I don't care. Really, it's just a suitcase. What's the big deal about having perfect luggage? It's not for display; it's not being entered into a beauty pageant; it has no need for exterior perfection. Being impact-resistant is what counts for me. Original review: Have used on trips to Europe and Florida. Is as light, and interior is as well designed, as represented. Delightful. I read negative comments before purchase about flimsy telescoping handle, breaking zipper, and spinners being too small. For London, I packed already using the expanding zipper, and returned home with a little more than I packed. On return from Florida, used expanding zipper. I love the room it adds. When zipping regular zipper, with both sides loaded, I take care to line the zippers up on top of one another and press down as hard as possible to reduce stress on zipper. (I also have pre-loaded the suitcase with not everything packed to get them smashed down before I add more.) A plus is that the zipper pulls fit into the TSA lock for security. No problems with spinners so far. I take a little extra care with the telescoping handle. It works wonderfully, and extends just to where I need it. I've put my carry-on against it and on top of of the case, but am mindful of the stress it adds. About the scuffs: Yes, as of my first trip, to Europe, there were a few scuff marks, which I expected from the reviews. The non-stop RT to Florida caused even greater scuffing. I care far more about the safety of what's inside the case. I pack my NutriBullet & accoutrements, and so far am pleased about how impact resistant the case is. Bottom line: This is not a high-end suitcase. If you want what one offers, pay for it. This gem works for me great so far. Will update later.

Smooth wheels, travels well
This suitcase looks great and travels well. It rolls very smoothly. I checked the suitcase, so of course it was scuffed up, but not damaged and the scuffs come off with a magic eraser.

Easy to Pull, Turns on a Dime, Lightweight Hardside Luggage
I like that it (almost) matches my carry-on! And it was on sale! I like that it has a 10 year warranty, it’s lightweight, it turns well, and this check bag is large enough to hold everything I need for a three week trip to Asia. I don’t need a fancy designer bag. I just need something sturdy that will hold up and be easy to move since I’m short plus had shoulder surgery last year. Oh, and I do want my bag to look presentable. It does! I read reviews where some complained about scratches; I don’t care about that. Well, I’ve also read that they can be rubbed out with a little bit of fine cleansing powder too so I don’t believe it will be a problem. And you do have to peel off the protective plastic film first! Apparently some people had not. My matching carry-on looks good after five years with minimal scratches. So I expect the same from the 24 inch suitcase. I would be disappointed if it arrived with an obvious dent, but I would be disappointed with the baggage handlers: Oops. Realistically, I expect it to get banged around since it’s a checked bag, but it’s got lots of sturdy zippers to keep it together. Still, I bought luggage straps just in case. I’m pleased. Maybe I’ll update this after traveling and report how my 24” check bag survived. edit: This suitcase stood up to handling from Atlanta to Tokyo (plus a Japanese domestic flight) and back. I used orange luggage straps which help me identify it! But the suitcase’s zippers held up fine. I used the expansion zippers since I needed to squeeze it closed, and I still had no problems. I watched my case be loaded onto a JAL flight, and then again onto a Delta flight. Guess which was roughest? Go USA handlers. But realistically, I expected as much based on sheer volume. Think how many bags get moved each connection. So while the case ended up with a few black marks and scratches, I was able to remove the marks easily with a magic eraser. After flying close to 15,000 miles, I’m very pleased.
