Chronic neck and shoulder pain is gone
Many years ago, I was advised that my head position was not in alignment. I tilt my head forward and placed strain on my neck. I am in my late fifties and have had neck and shoulder pain most of my life. A few weeks ago, I started using this neck strengthener as directed (10 reps 3 times a day). Amazing, no more neck pain. Did you hear me? No more neck pain. I'm not sure if anyone else will achieve the same results but I wanted people to know how great this product has been for me. And I think my head carriage has improved.

Great After A Long Day At My Desk
I wouldn’t describe myself as an “inside person” really, but I do work from home at a desk for 8-10 hours a day and have several sitting in place style hobbies too. There are weeks where more than 90% of my time is spent sitting down AND looking down. This can often cause tension to build for me in my neck and shoulders which inevitably results in headaches and poor sleep due to soreness and tightness. I’ve run the gamut of gadgets and products to help alleviate tension and relive sore muscles for any conceivable part of my body. Foam rollers, massage wands, tiny little firm massage orbs to roll your body on, heating pads… you name it. I had been eyeing this for a while when I finally decided to pick it up. It arrived quickly and had minimal packaging, which I like. Upon first attempted use it felt a little unwieldy and confusing, but coming back to the Amazon listing and watching a video helped me get sorted quickly. You may find yourself having to get your head/neck aligned properly with practice, but once you do… THE STRETCH. Doing this for a few minutes a day to start in the middle or at the end of a long period of focusing my head down while working is so helpful. The more I’ve done it over the last 2 weeks, the easier it’s become. It has been such a welcome addition to my arsenal of wellness tools to help my body stay flexible and comfortable when more of my time is spent sitting down or working on a computer. Absolutely worth picking up.

Not what I expected
Doesn't work for me. The spring is too tight

Can hit all sides of neck
I was looking for an easy way to strengthen the neck. The reverse head movement generates only moderate resistance but does its job. You can also flip it and do forward resistance. The big bonus is you can easily leverage it to do lateral reps and really get a good pump on your side neck muscles.

Great for those who use computers often!
My family members have various careers and hobbies that use computers for hours each day. I purchased this strengthener to work to correct our posture, as well as alleviate pain and strain from being hunched over so often. It arrived well packaged and was easy to figure out. We've all used the corrector for a few days so far and have noticed a difference already from strengthening our neck and cervical areas. It feels great to use the muscles opposite the ones we've been using to work on computers to alleviate the pain and get relief and better posture!

Snapped during use - barely used
I only used this product on occasion, perhaps once every few weeks at the most, maybe as little as once a month. However, in a year and three months of VERY occasional use, it broke. Snapped right in half, underneath the foam. Completely unusable. I can't even recommend it for occasional use, as I barely got any use out of it before it broke.

Great product
I had neck surgery months ago and this device has really improved my neck muscles.

Great concept but poor quality
I suffer from chronic neck pain. First, I really like how this item made my neck feel. Unfortunately, after only 2 days of use, it became bent and developed an awful squeak in the spring when using it. Ended up returning it, but was really bummed out. Its just to expense. Maybe at some point if they drop the price to around $15, I'd consider repurchasing it, but at $35, its not worth it based on the poor construction/quality.

As someone who's had the best part of 25 years sitting at computers all day every day, "nerd neck" became a very painful reality for me. Every day I had pain, starting at the neck and becoming major headaches by lunchtime, unbearable without pain relief literally every day. After various doctor visits and scans that proved nothing was wrong with my skeletal structure or joints, I purchased this to see if strengthening my neck muscles would maybe help alleviate it somewhat. Not only has it alleviated the pain, it's near non-existent now. If you buy one to try it, take it easy. Don't go crazy, or you'll have even more pain than before using it (found this out as I went hard at the exercise). Start on small reps (like 10), give it a week, then increase slightly, and so on. I've seen people mention the rubber pinching hair - I place a towel between my head and the device to prevent sweat on it, but I'm sure it also removes the pinching too.
