Worked as advertised
Fit My screen door, perfectly. You will need to cut a small piece of the plastic stem, to make the latch work correctly. I wish the outside button piece wasn't plastic. Or maybe it was reinforced better. My original handle, the button end piece broke off. Had to get a new one.....

Cheap and not very sturdy.
I've built several screen doors for out home and a couple of friends homes. Normally buy parts from HD but since I was ordering a soft door closer from Amazon I figured I would just get one from here as well. Built the screen door and installed it with little to no difficulty. Adjusted everything and it worked fine. Closer left a little bit to be desired but not bad overall. A couple of hours later when I went to exit and depressed the inside latch the assembly broke apart. I picked up the parts and found the actual spring-loaded latch had broken off. Contacted Amazon but only option I had was to call manufacturer. Called them and explained and they said contact Amazon. Explained what Amazon had said and the rep started telling me I was going to have to take pictures, write detailed explanation of what happened, etc. It's a cheap 7 dollar part and I just wanted to get it replaced. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T GET THIS POS. I just went down to Home Depot and paid 10 bucks for a unit a little bit better than this one.UPDATE:Bought another one since is was cheap and less of a headache than trying to get this thing replaced. Also a piece of junk. Same exact thing happened. Plastic push button actuator pin in handle keeps deflecting off to the side and binding on inner latch. Makes the latch bind and not function. Had to basically jam my knife inbetween the jam and the screen door to open it. Then it broke. What a waste of money.

Not as expected.
This latch handle came complete and is very easy to install. Great product and highly recommended!UPDATE: I have changed my mind about this latch handle. This handle is made with a outside pushbutton that is made from plastic and the pushrod that opens the latch is integrated into the button (not separate). When it got into the seventy-degree temperature range outside, the plastic would soften up and when you push the button in to open the door from the outside the pushrod would bend and slip past the latch release and then it would be stuck pushed in and the door would still be latched leaving you stuck outside unless you could open the other door on the other side of the house. I no longer recommend this product because it could be a serious problem if you get stuck outside your home, say, without your medication, inhaler, or maybe you need to go in for any other reason and can't access your home. BEWARE!

Works, but probably not long term
I am giving this 4 stars for the time being because it is as advertised. It IS a cheap replacement part, in which I managed to avoid using the exterior handle and a lot of the all plastic pieces that others complain about. I only used the interior handle and the striker out of this package, which thankfully screwed right together with my existing equipment. Seems to function as intended. I will update this review if anything happens to go wrong with the interior handle. A lot of the pieces do seem to be cheaply made plastic, so if you want a latch that is going to last years, please look elsewhere. In a pinch, it does what it needs to.

DIFFERENT THAN THE ORIGINAL BEING REPLACED
At first I thought, oh boy, this thing is not as nice as the one being replaced cause it broke after 30 years. It took me like 10 minutes to remove old and replace with new. I had to use the new latch with a spacer behind it and bam, perfect. What I really like is when it starts to pass thru the “catch” it makes this little noise as it crosses the catch plate and rests. It has never once failed to entirely close. I like it alot, and I highly recommend it.

You get what you pay for
Inexpensive and easy to install. However, the push button along with its connected arm that pushes the latch open when opening the door is made of cheap plastic instead of metal like the rest of the product. After ~6 months the plastic arm will begin to bend and may get stuck in the open position with the button depressed and not popping back out. This causes the door latch to stop working and it will need to be replaced. If the problem piece was made out of metal then it would not bend and cause issues. This product is a cheap fix, and will not last long.

Total crap, buyer beware
Item is crap!I've replaced many door handles in my life. This one is simple to install, but doesn't work. I'm just replacing a very old one that fell apart after 30ish years so all the whole are in place. This one lines up, but once installed it's stuck and the buttons do not work. I've took it off and made sure it's installed correctly about 15 times now and nothing I do changes it. The buttons simply do not work and now my animals can get out the house which is not ok!!!! I have a screened room and the cats have a door for access to it so their not stuck inside the house, but they're not allowed lose in the neighborhood, and here I am with a brand new for handle that does not work. SMH, waste of time and money. Only thing going is it wasn't expensive, but still a waste
