Merrell Men's Moab 3 Edge Hiking Shoe

These shoes seem very sturdy, yet very light for a low top travel/hiking shoe. They are exactly what I was hoping they were -- an all purpose shoe for hiking and travel in all sorts of conditions, without wearing a full hiking boot. I especially like having the wide toe option.... I added an aftermarket insert, for my super high arches, which is normal for my feet.Not so sure about the Amazon delivery. The box was left in the bushes near the end of our driveway, about 130 feet from our porch or front door which was the delivery location listed in the tracking info... Glad I found the box before the next round of rain started up later tonight...

I got these for a long cross country camping adventure and wore them every day for a month for driving and general walking and light hiking and they were light and comfortable and a joy to wear. I haven't experienced any of the tearing issues that others have noticed in some of the reviews, but I don't see these as hardcore long and hard hiking shoes. For short and relatively not too rough hikes they would be fine and that's really what I use them for besides everyday adventuring. But on a serious rocky, steep or just plane rough hike I'd go with traditional mid cut hiking shoes or boots.

I bought these Merrell Moab 3 shoes, and when the first pair arrived, it was defective, so Amazon sent me a replacement.It's been 10 months, and the same thing happened to the new pair: they are falling apart, and the letters of the logo are peeling off.Amazon directed me to Merrell for warranty support, but Merrell claims that the store "HAS BRANDS" is not one of their certified providers, so they cannot provide a warranty.Amazon only offers a 30-day warranty.Now, I have a brand-new pair of shoes to throw away. I never used them for hiking, only for going to the office, and I work behind a computer.It's incredible how poor the quality of Merrell is, as well as their after-sales service, and Amazon's as well. I threw my money away.

Have worn Merrill shoes for 5 years and have never been disappointed. They are comfortable and wear like iron.

I use hiking shoes primarily for work. I need a light weight, comfortable and durable shoe with decent traction. I prefer waterproof, and that’s what I thought I was getting with these shoes. They are Not waterproof! Now, they do not claim to be in the description, but they look waterproof and they are hiking shoes. I assumed that they were and you know what assuming gets you. Other than that, they are great for what I use them for, but the insole is a little lacking. I need some more support so I purchased some better ones. Overall a good shoe, just didn’t live up to my assumed expectations.

Bought these to replace worn shoes of earlier generation. Much lower cost than retail. Placed the order and didn't look back. Comfortable, light-weight, durable.

I agree with what others said about the quality of the material that was "painted" on the outside of the shoe...it seems like it would peel off quickly. The reason I returned these shoes was because the fit seemed .5 larger than normal. The toe box was also very tall so there was a lot of space around the toes.

Merrell always fit true to size. A good quality shoe.

Bought these because they were a lot cheaper than the retail store. Fast shipping and they fit great. Will definitely recommend to buyers. Item was exactly as described.

I love the MOAB 2, but wanted to try these MOAB 3's, which are a little different design, and they were on sale so I jumped at them, and I am happy. Been wearing them a month now, and they broke in fine, and I plan on wearing these out like I have done with every other pair since 2013. The Vibram souls are my favorite, and from experience I only purchase that sole, since they are very durable and withstood me hiking around with a 50 lb pack for months without splitting.

Wayyyy too wide and too big. Returned 2 pairs and then i gave up. I think thwy're extra wide but it didnt say anywhere in the description
