Merrell Kids' Chameleon 7 Access Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot

I purchased these boots for my Granddaughter (8yrs) and a pair for my Grandson (10yrs) too.They are great for fun hikes and adventurous beach walks during the fall and winter months along the Jersey shore. These hiking boots keep their feet dry and protected from fallen tree branches, thorns etc. and much better traction than their sneakers.We found them to be very supportive and sturdy, great for dirt trails with some hills and rocks.I own a pair for myself as well. Mine are at least 6 yrs old and still look and feel like new even though they have been around! Great purchase!!

Couldn’t be happier with these shoes. First of all, I’m not receiving any compensation for this review. Secondly, I have an ACTIVE 8 year old son who typically wears out shoes (holes in less than 6-8 weeks) so I bought these due to the seemingly heavier duty construction.Couldn’t be happier with the purchase. A month later and we can dust these off and they look new. Son said they’re as comfortable as the high-priced, name-brand shoes we replaced them with.I love the high top shoes because it gives him greater ankle support and reduces the likelihood of an ankle injury.I truly believe you’d be hard pressed to find a better shoe for a growing little boy.

We sized up on these to allow for thicker socks. My daughter loved these did not have any issues with them. She wore them a couple days before going on a hike to try to break them in. We suffered no blisters and she said they were warm and comfy the entire time.
