Very impressive for a sub $10 air pump. Opinion on sound is subjective. It isnt silent, but its not exaggeratedly loud either- youll hear it in the back ground. Checkvalve does its job. Air hose is holding up a month later and shows no sign of degrading. Easy to set up, compact and efficient. High amount of air volume appears to be produced at the diffuser stone. Would be a great back-up or supplemental pump to keep your dissolved oxygen up.

I am impressed! Easy installation. Sound is minimal and surprisingly quiet! Bubbles look great and my fish love it. Some of them “surf” the bubbles and it is fun to watch! Works great!! I’ll let ya know after I’ve had it for a few weeks weeks on durability and longevity!

Super quiet doesn't make a lot of noise unless it bumps something works great for small aquariums using it in a 20 gallon long

For what you pay for it's not bad at all. Simple to install and provides alot of aeration in a tank. It is a bit noisy but that's to be expected.

Very quiet to the point of I forget its there , still going strong and running 2 tanks after a year and a bit

This is a really nice little aquarium air pump at a great price. It’s very compact, and easy to use. Comes with a check valve, which you need to add when installing it, to prevent siphoning. (Trust me, you do not want to skip the check valve.)I’ve got it powering a sponge filter in my 10 gallon snail tank, and it’s got plenty of power. I’ve got lots of bubbles. It’s working great.It sits nice and stable on its four rubber legs if you have a flat surface to put it on. It doesn’t vibrate and make noise like so many do, unless I don’t sit it just right in the place I keep it, and it’s touching the edge of the space. Other than that, it’s nice and quiet. I actually added a piece of a self-leveling pad, which is super dense foam, for extra padding underneath.I’m happy with it!

Overall, this product does what it needs to do. However, the pump is very loud and gets hot. It operates fine but I'm nervous about leaving the house with it plugged in. I'm not sure if it's normal for the pump to get hot while plugged in.

Was cool that it came with all the stuff. Pretty much exactly what you pay for!

Smaller than I expected but works just perfectly. Although it is a tad bit noticeably loud, I tuned it out in ni time. Fish are very happy. Also when you get it and your confused on why one of the two ends dont fit on each other, I just cut part of the plastic tube (probably says it in the description) but altogether its a great product and I would buy again 5 stars.👌

I have it since around a year now and it’s been on 12hours a day, it’s still perfectly working. Good power. I recommend this product !
