This is a great tent, considering buying another for my boys. My favorite thing about it is the simple setup with the pole pockets and the durability of the poles. The tent is also lighter because it has a thin floor. You could take it backpacking if you were camping with a large group. The negatives are the zipper hangs (like all tents), the floor is thin so it will need patch tape if you sleep with a cot, and it doesn’t have great air flow. However, the full rain fly on 3 sides is good for cold weather and water. You will need a ground tarp, tucked underneath to keep water from seeping in. I know tents, having spent 30+ years running an outdoor program. This is a good tent; simply designed and easy to put together. I put it up on my own in 5-minutes, and it seems sturdy, with plenty of room for six adults inside.

This a good tent for use in fair weather. Super easy to set up. Spacious inside, with numerous pockets. The zipper does often get stuck, but this is only a minor inconvience to me. The floor is also very thin - I used a camping cot and it tore some tiny holes in the floor, so this is perhaps not a good option if you're a cot camper. Make sure to get the footprint for it too.

Good pert good price doesn't take much room weight good. No complaints goes up quick & easy

I bought this size tent to have some extra room for me and my dog. It is a great, roomy space for the two of us. I would not use it for more than 2 people. It is extremely well ventilated. I usually have a small fan going and didn't need it at all. It's weight is great for car camping and if you can convince your friend to carry it - backpacking too! Yes the zipper catches but it's a minor thing that most of these tents do.

I purchased this tent with high hopes, very much aware that it was on the cheaper side, but it had great reviews. I camp mostly in Florida for a few days at a time. This tent fell apart after using it twice with light use. The stitching came loose, it leaks through with light rain and the poles must have had stress cracks or someone and broke after a few uses. I’m not a rookie when it comes to camping, been doing it for decades and this tent is a horrible option. But the worst part is that I contacted Kelty to see if I could get a refund or at least new poles and they basically told me to shove it up my a**. Long story short.. Don't buy this tent. I think this is my 2nd maybe 3rd time ever writing a review, but it was completely necessary.

This tent is perfect for one adult and 3 small children. Very easy set up. I can do it by myself. The size is perfect for sleeping, but not much else. I put a large air mattress in there. There’s room for bags on the side and enough space to dress and do your basic stuff. We use it in the spring and fall in Florida. Very satisfied so far with the longevity of the material. I clean after each use and pack away in a dry area. I also use a tarp underneath. The best part is just how easy it is to put up and take down. Storing it doesn’t take up much space either. Convenient tent.

Easy set up tent with plenty of room for 4 people with normal size sleeping mats-not back packing mats. You can stand up in the middle, but usually the middle has stuff or mattresses on it-so I would probably rethink my purchase of this again. The door zipper was constantly getting snagged on the lip at the top edge and the bottom edge. I found this very annoying. We did like the several storage pockets on the inside of the tent. It did hold up well in a wind storm and though it almost blew in during some gusts--it bounced right back into shape. I purchased the footprint which was supposed to be specifically for the 6 person Kelty Tent--but it was smaller than the tent by several inches. The tent is heavy and is a car camping tent. Even if you split up the equipment the poles are very heavy.
