Fun toy for youngsters
The first "spider" I ordered worked briefly, moving forward about a foot, turning right and...dying. The eyes flashed but the critter would not respond to the remote, even after charging. The good news is that Amazon sent another one right away, and this spider worked as advertised. It's a great gift for younger kids and maybe a way to teach children that spiders aren't really bad creatures. The power cell in the spider lasts for a half hour or so before needing recharge. It would be nice if the spider would turn left as well as right, and if it had a "reverse" function, but for the price this toy is not bad at all.
