Is it the cheapest way to get a fizzy drink? No But it's convenient, fast, tastes good, cus down on waste and looks ok, it a bit plasticky for the price, honestly you'll be disappointed but it's functional

I have been debating buying a SodaStream as I like sparkling water but wasn't sure if it was worth the cost but I'm very impressed with this machine, and wish I had bought it sooner. First off it's very quick and easy to insert the gas cylinder, just remove the back lift the handle and drop in the cylinder, it takes seconds to change and no struggling. The bottles are also easy to attach to the machine and, once filled to the line it's a simple and easy pull down lever to carbonate the water. I didn't bother buying the package which included the syrup flavours as I wasn't sure if they would taste like the real thing however I have added the carbonated water to the squash I had in the cupboard one of them being Vimto and the taste was just as good as the fizzy Vimto you can buy in the shops, so it will come in handy when family visit with their kids. pop on tap at a fraction of the cost. No more carrying heavy bottles home and as an added bonus the machine looks great on my worktop.

Makes water fizzy.. Not sure what else to say, simple to use and saves getting bottled water from the shops so yeah.. Worth it

Its great, so easy to use. Fill the bottles up to the line, put in machine & fizz the water. I really like it because I dont always want a whole of pop & a bottle goes flat, so i can just make a small glass to suit

I’ve been using the SodaStream ART for a while now and overall I’m very happy with the machine itself. It looks great sitting on the worktop, feels well made and is extremely easy to use. The lever makes carbonating water quick and simple, and I’ve had no problems at all with its actual performance. One thing I decided to keep track of was how long each CO₂ cylinder really lasted. Rather than guessing, I marked down every bottle I made and found that I was generally getting around 30–44 bottles from a cylinder, depending on how much carbonation I used. Each bottle 800ml. For example, one cylinder gave me 44 bottles at three pulls while five were closer to the mid-30s. I normally use several presses of the lever because I like a decent amount of fizz, so obviously someone using lighter carbonation may get considerably more. That is really my only disappointment with the SodaStream ART. The gas cylinders seem to run out surprisingly quickly, particularly if you like your drinks properly fizzy. It means the ongoing cost of replacement cylinders is something worth considering before buying. Apart from that, I really like it. It looks stylish, works exactly as it should and is much more convenient than constantly buying bottles of sparkling water. Overall: a very good machine, but I wish the CO₂ cylinders lasted longer. Taste from juice mixers are good, no leaking if careful, been durable so far, this won’t save you any money over pre sparkling water, but it is better for environment and less rubbish with plastic bottles

I love my soda stream: I was not going to get another one after my (very old) one broke but I missed being able to make fizzy water. What I would say is you need to make sure when you first use it that you follow the instructions: the handle feels like you are going to break it even if the bottle is just a mm out of place. Once you get the hang of it, it’s great. I preferred the look of this one. The handle makes it very old school looking, and it fits well with some of the retro items in my kitchen. I either make sparkling water or soda every other day and it’s worked perfectly each time: you literally just pull the handle a few times (depending how fizzy you like your drink) and you’re all set for your drink. you can get replacement gas cylinders on here and they are recyclable.
