Great for flying roaches not so great for wildebeest.
Haven't needed this in ages, but... Sometimes with the heavy rains come the ugly palmetto bug, and for those who think the name sounds "tropical", like "hey, Claire, come play with the palmetto bugs!" it's a fancy name for cockroach. One of these ๐ชณ. And it isn't just 1, it's likely a dozen, a few dozen, a few hundred thousand marching across humid grass in the darkness, creeping... creeping towards the soft warm glow of the house lights, or worse yet, flying! They fly! And they don't just fly short distances, they go up high and swoop down with stunning precision. Anyway, so yeah. The garage doesn't have the perfect seal on the sides. Sure it will keep out possums and racoons and the occasional alligator (we don't get random gators but this being Florida, anything is possible), but it won't keep out the roaches or the brown recluse, which despite its name isn't very reclusive at all. Anyway, so I saw these cockroaches, and these guys fly. Yes, they fly. And depending on my mood, I either dodge them in flight, or scream like a little girl much to the amusement of my friends who would do the same if they weren't laughing so bad. Thought there was that one time a flying roach landed on my back, tumbled down my shorts only to have me flip the waistband and watch him fall out. Not a peep out of me. If you haven't had at least one intimate roach encounter in Florida, you ain't really from here. A roach in your shorts as you go commando, yeah, pretty intimate. So I threw these in the garage. Let these fly boys check in and not check out. The stickiness is excellent, won't hold a wildebeest in place but these bugs stand no chance. Effective as they are ugly. Oh well, can't have everything.

If they get in there they are not getting out the inside the box is completely glue
The price is reasonable and I have ordered this item many times. Very effective and so easy to set up so when the bottom fills up all you got to do is flip it over and let them crawl on the other side the whole entire box is nothing but glue so they can't get out. Very sticky glue in the box or a reasonable size and pretty sturdy

Catches all Kinds of Household Bugs
We do not have roaches, but these traps capture all kinds of house bugs in the closets, kitchen cabinets, laundry room and garage. Caught silverfish and spiders. The box itself keeps objects from just sticking on the glue surface. Just hide them where bugs crawl along the walls. Lasts a long time since you can flip them to a new side.

Good trap
Been very useful. Though sometimes the traps themselves end up damage. However, if you get one that isnโt damage it helps a lot

Really work but follow all instructions
These really do work! Follow instructions; if you don't catch your prey on first few nights, move hotels around as instructions say.

Do roaches have souls?
I live in the city and there was a bigโun hanging out in my kitchen, terrorizing me from the dark. Took me a couple nights to get it, and to be honest, I had to kinda chase it into the trap (hence the missing star). Then, I was overcome with guilt. I, too, simply want a safe, dry place to call home. Do we know, for certain, that we are not all one soul? Living a billion lives? Will I one day be the roach in the trap??? I took it out back and unfolded the motel and found a stick and tried to save that little guy. But the trap was too efficient. Too sticky. I really really couldnโt get the bugger unstuck. My hands were all shaky and clammy because, despite my guilt, ew yuck a roach! So I ended up putting it - him? - out of its misery and sent it off to a burial at sea (in the dumpster). Anyway, it was easy to assemble and there was no smell. Didnโt catch any roaches on its own, but worked once I cornered a roach into it. Id buy it again!

Works as advertised.
They really work well, provided they're placed in the different location and are left for a few days. Non toxic!
