Maison Alhambra Avant Eau De Parfum Spray for Men, 3.4 Ounce

Okay for those of you seeing all those ads about the original its based off check this out. This smells really good. HOWEVER!!!! its a really mature scent. like super mature. You have to like these type of smells. Its EXTREMELY smokey. Like you stick your face inside a bag of Charcoal smokey. It smells you grabbed a pineapple, sliced it, threw some spices on it, a dash of freshly squeezed citrus, threw the slices on your charcoal grill you forgot to clean and got some lighter fluid on your slices of pineapple and burned them a bit and overcooked them. it last a good while tho. it last like 7 hours for me. I never smelt the original. They say this one is based on the first batch. I only smelt the newer ones where the smoke is toned down and more citrus is added. So if you are not used to these types of smells or not a fan of charcoal smoke then steer clear This is like a less sweet version of Qaed al Fursan. that one has more pineapple and tones down the smoke and ups the spice too. BUT for me its a 5 since i do like this smokey profile.

I bought this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The scent is good.., haven’t tried wearing it out yet as I was planning on letting it macerate for a bit first. Some of the reviews said it smelt chemically!?!? Mine doesn’t. I will come back and edit after spending more time with it, but for now it’s a no brainer at this price point.

I own 40+ colognes including around 10 from Maison Alhambra. I'm normally a big fan of this brand (Yeah!, Woody Oud, Amber and Leather, Fabulo are all amazing) but this one is NOT GOOD. I can tell they were going for Creed Aventus, but this has a very astringent, artificial, chemically, bitter, musky quality to it, and smells kind of like hotdog water. It is NASTY. I own two other Aventus clones that I like (Club De Nuit Intense Man and Alt Executive) but this is nowhere near either of those. There is a reason this cologne is only $10. Do NOT buy this. You have been warned.

Comes off kind of weak, but I layer it as a overtone with Salvo for the perfect scent!!!!

Smokey batch of the original but real good job for the price. Doesn’t last too long but good quality

Solid clone if you let it macerate for 6+ months. Then you avoid that "fresh off the line" off-gas. Smokey, like the original, old-school Creed Aventus.

A lot of people say this smells like aventus, the up front smell I could see that, but the dry down is much more smokey! If you like a spicy smoky dry down scent, you will love this! And the smell seems to last all day, the longevity is amazing! The one that I got all leaked out so I'm having to reorder that's the only reason I gave it three stars! But my friend who wears this absolutely loves it!
