Worked great. My version (model 600+D) has the zoom feature
This is the first projector I have bought for personal use. I give presentations before small groups. I wanted a portable projector that would handle screen sizes from 30” to 100" diagonal. I wanted a projector that could display a video without a computer. This little machine has it all, including a remote control. So far I have projected a video with sound from a USB memory stick. Plug the stick in before turning on the project using the Android operating system go to the local, select memory open the file and select your video player. Worked great. My version (model 600+D) has the zoom feature. It is a 16-step zoom and I guess the range is about 10%. It is one-way. The unit boots in largest picture size. The zoom makes the image progressively smaller. when the limit is reached it resets to the largest again. Fan is some what noise, but an external set of powered (plug them into the wall outlet) speakers overcomes the fan easily. I have barely explored this machines capabilities. I connected to WIFI and have projected a video from there. Haven't yet used HDMI. You'll have to experiment a little. The Manual is very cryptic. I requested and got a pdf version of the manual so I could print a bigger size manual. Customer service was great. I still need to checkout the slide show (presentations with words and numbers) to see what font size is useable. Probably will not handle fine print. For the price this projector is feature-laden and works for my application. Works indoors under ambient lighting. I recommend this machine.

BROKEN after 10 hours.. and REPLACED!
ORIGINAL REVIEW 1 STAR: This unit stopped after 10 hours of use. Won't power up or show any indicator that power is being supplied. I bought a little $80 pico-projector 6 years ago from a different manufacturer and the thing is still running fine! This is unacceptable. Can't get in touch with the manufacturer to fix or replace. Don't waste your money on something that is going to break for no apparent reason.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~After writing this review, I have been contacted by the manufacturer to discuss the nature of the issue. I consider myself pretty handy with a soldering iron (have fixed a handful of Macbook Pro's with various issues) but could not discern what exactly went wrong with the projector. No damage or broken points on the boards. Together, the manufacturer and I found that it was the power circuits that had gone bad, and immediately was offered a replacement. No hassle, no accusation of breaking the thing myself, just a straight up new unit (even past warranty, because I didn't want to open the box until my girl and I moved into our new house.)The experience was so much better than I had anticipated, and the fact that the projector is *actually* a good projector for the price (long as it works) that I'm changing my review to a 5-star review. I want to thank you again Carol for making this right. I hope to get more than 10 hours of use out of my new one! ;]
