What is the maximum voltage the charger can tolerate?** A: The TP4056 chip on the board says in the datasheet a maximum of 8 volts can be applied to the chip. I don't have it on hand to check, but you can add the voltage drop of any components in series with the power input and T4056's Vcc. I used these to power some Arduino Pro Mini projects using a single lipo18650 cell with good success. The output voltage is 5V regardless of input voltage or if it is running from battery. They were so inexpensive, I was just going to let it go. When Maker Focus emailed to confirm that I was satisfied, I let them know about the damaged module. Since they couldn't immediately mail a replacement they offered a refund.
