On her first day taking them she learned they definitely needed to be taken with food or just after a balanced meal or they would leave her feeling sick. She has since learned her lesson and only takes it with food. Just last week she said she only took it Monday but didn't feel the want to drink for the duration of the week, granted, this was after a consistent few weeks of taking it. I'm happy it works for her intentions because I like to see her proud of herself for going yet another day without a drink! She did say she's been eating more sweets which has never been a problem for her. I think cutting out the alcohol has her body craving new sources of sugar so buyer beware!
