I’ve been very impressed with the Young Nails Protein Bond. It has made a noticeable difference in how well my gel manicures stay on. After prepping my nails and applying a thin coat, my builder gel and gel polish adhere much better, and I’ve experienced far less lifting around the edges. I also like that it’s a non-acid primer, so it’s gentle on my natural nails while still providing excellent adhesion. The application is quick and easy, and since you only need a very small amount, the bottle will last a long time. I’ve used it with builder gel and gel polish, and it creates a reliable foundation that helps my manicures last longer. It’s definitely become an essential part of my nail prep routine. Overall, this is a high-quality product that’s well worth the price. If you’re looking for better adhesion and longer-lasting gel nails, I highly recommend giving this primer a try. I would absolutely purchase it again.

This is the key to getting your press on nails to stick on for days. The product is very small but very worth it. Product goes on clear. Will buy again. Chapstick for scale.

This primer is so good that I cracked a nail on one hand and did not notice any product lifting. The product is popular among licensed nail techs for a reason. I used to experience terrible lifting, sometimes see lifting within days of doing a set of nails despite proper nail prep and application. Now my sets can last several weeks with very minimal to no lifting because of this primer (along with proper prep and product application). I haven’t tested the Young Nails dehydrator with this product but I’m still getting good retention by dehydrating the nails with 91% isopropyl alcohol and acetone before the Young Nails primer. Use in a well ventilated area because it has a somewhat strong scent like acetone. The 7.5mL bottle is tiny but if you only do your own nails, it will last quite a while. Worth every penny.

This works amazing. I usually use Gelish pH Bond, and this definitely works better, no lifting after 2 weeks. I used Young Nails Protein Bond, then Gelish foundation, then, gel color, Gelish Top it Off.

I love this product. It’s def worth the money wish it was a little bigger but still a great product. It makes a difference when I use it. My nails last longer.

very good primer, but expensive for size!

This is what nails techs use, so even though it’s a little more expensive it works. You get a sticky layer that makes your nails (I do builder gel) last for 5-6 weeks.

When I tell you, this stuff is AMAZING!! I've been a nail novice for ages and I've never been able to get my gel to stick. My gel Mani lasted 3 weeks!!!! I was annoyed at the price, now I'm annoyed for not getting the bigger one, HAHA!

Great product. Really struggling to keep my biab nails on for more than a few days before I bought this product. This has stops my nails from peeling on the edges annd ends and I can keep the nails on for around 3 weeks now. My nails get a lot of wear everyday so I am much happier now I can keep them on for longer

I absolutely love this product! I've been using it for 2 years and there is a tremendous difference between when I use it and when I use other primers. I've used this in conjunction with Young Nails, Luminary and Ugly Duckling gel and acrylic, as well as DND gel polish and there is very little to no lifting when I use it. Using professional quality products with this primer is the trick. AND it lasts forever! Don't be deceived by the tinyness of the bottle, a little goes a loooong way with this product.
