Silicone Film High Temp Thin Rubber Sheet Gasket Super Clear 11.8 "(Approx. 12x19.7 x1/32 inch

I was replacing a piece of glass that broke in my fireplace. It had a thin film at the top and bottom that was utterly destroyed when I took out the glass pieces from the metal frame. When I put the new glass in I used this to replace the material that was there and after a few months it looks like it is doing a perfect job.

I used this silicone to reinforce the gasket on a Kohler wipes container , which I filled with Rhino Wipes and 70% rubbing alcohol to make my own sanitizing wipes. It is stretchy, clear, and tacky (it can stick to a semi-gloss painted wall with nothing but friction). I wanted to use the product on my Brother Scan n Cut, but I could not get it to stay stuck to the mat while cutting it. I tried many different settings but nothing worked. I think the material is too soft for what I want to use it for, but the material is just as was described on the website.

This stuff is so cool! It can be used for so many things. I use mine to help seal bottles of oil. Works great.

Easy to work with. Used this to build gaskets for body penetrations on truck tool boxes. They needed to be less visible, this worked nicely.

Used this to cover my ceramic trivets so my ceramic pots wouldn't slide off. Working great !!!

I thought this would be the perfect solution for my epoxy resin free form designs. The very first time I used it, it tore to pieces when peeling it off my resin work. The resin stuck to it in several places. Huge dissappointment.

This product worked great for my sink drain and other plumbing.

I'm surprised at how well this silicone has held up in my application. I'm melting plastic on this film at around 200 C. This silicone has good non-stick properties, so once the plastic has cooled I can easily peel it off. The silicone seems to be able to withstand 200 C for a long time without showing signs of degradation. It's ever so slightly cloudy (not 100% crystal clear transparent), but it is good enough for my application.

Very high quality material. Nearly optical grade transparency. Strong, quickly recovers it shape.

Price is high but so am I. These work well for hand pressing hash.
