Mini Split Ductless AC Air Conditioner and Heat Pump 18000 BTU / 230V 15 SEER Complete System (18000 BTU / 230V) (18000 BTU / 230V)

I installed the 12,000 BTU unit in my cabin two weeks ago it has been better than I have expected considering how low the price was. It is especially good in the summertime at keeping the cabin pool and uses very little electricity compared to my old window air unit I had. Even on the hottest days I never noticed the compressor motor come far off The idle speed. Even in the winter when it is heating it can maintain temperature in the cabin until the outside temperature gets below 10 to 15°F at which time I need to start the wood stove. It would probably maintain temperature I even lower outside air temperature if I wasn't trying to heat a poorly insulated cabin with lots of windows and more square footage than this is recommended for. The only thing that could be better is the control logic. When in heating mode it seems to let the temp dropped 45° below the set point before the variable compressor completely ramps up but that could be done to the fact I'm trying to heat a large space then it was decided for.

Got this unit installed and instantly had issues with it. Customer service was horrible trying to get it fixed. Took 2 weeks to get a new unit sent

Arrived on time. 3 large boxes. Install was pretty simple, I did everything myself except wire the disconnect and evacuate the line set. I purchased the wall mount, which is great addition to this unit. (Keeps it out of the snow) since I will be using this to heat as well. Have been using this unit for over a week now and very pleased with the results!

I installed this myself and mounting but had an HVAC tech check my work and test the vacuum and levels. This unit works great and cools quickly. The almost 3 feet fan space really pushes the air around and makes you feel comfortable. I didn't realize that the LED/LCD display shows through the plastic cover and looks quite modern and big enough to read across the room.
