Hogue OverMolded Rubber Grip for Kimber K6s Bantam DA/SA & DAO

This is my second Hogue Bantam Rubber Monogrip going on a K6S DASA pistol. I am very pleased with these grips so put them onto yet another K6S pistol frame that I will soon shoot. My shooting and felt recoil has been improved with them. I think the Installation should not be any issue for anybody, BUT one should first read and understand directions and be sure to 1) put the included plastic caps onto each end the frames guide post at frame's bottom of the open grip, then 2nd) be sure to start the gun's frame grip guide post into the respective end of groove channel in the rubber grip (look in with flashlight beforehand to ensure the correct channel that gose from top of grip to bottom but is visibly on the curve psth. Last bit of advice-- once starting the grip installation keep pushing towrd final position, with going strongly until grip is all the way up to the top most position--ONE forceful motion should do it--try not to stop halfway! Installation guide shows this to be a radial or somewhat curved motion that seemingly facilitates the intended finished grip position with strong positive motion . I am mostly deaf so I did not hear thefinal or actual "snaps" stated in the instructions but I feel comfortble that my grip is solidly in installed position. My new grip is feeling as solid as it can get and at the topmost, intended final position up against the top of farme and butted up tight against the back of the trigger guard with no additional visible room for any more movement. Good luck with a great grip product from Hogue for your K6S which really has a very easy installation process! Some CAUTIONS: The grip is still seems a bit on the small side as well. And removal of installed grip is a different story--not easy at all. I spent over an hour and still no luck with a few different approaches, even using the supplied plastic grip removal tool. iT TOOK 2 SETS OF HANDS, 2 SCREWDRIVERS TO OPEN THE BOTTOM GRIP TO INSTALL THEIR INCLUDED REMOVAL TOOL. I eventually SLIGHTLY OILED A FEW EDGES OF RUBBER AND TWO OF US were able to pull the GRIP off finally --SO DOABLE BUT QUITE THE EFFORT.

The factory G-10 grips that came on the deep cover version were beautiful but had no checkering or any kind of texture. These were very easy to install and what a difference in the grip. Not as pretty but much better control.

Definitely a great upgrade from stock grips. Fits your hand nicely!

Grip is very easy to install. They add quite a bit of more surface/thickness/girth and make the gun more enjoyable to shoot. Grips do add thickness which makes it harder to pocket carry but I do not think it makes any difference for inside or the wasteband carry. I also don’t think these grips look as good as the beautiful wood factory grips but I bought the fun to use, not look at!

I purchased this Hogue rubber grip for my new Kimber K6S DASA 357 revolver. The grip was a bit difficult to install, but once I got it on, it fit like a glove. The rubber grip feels much better to me than the original wood grips. I took the Kimber back to the range, and son of a gun, if it did not help reduce the felt recoil from the smallish hand cannon, and it looks good too.

Super nice feeling and makes a huge difference when shooting full power loads.

I would like the grip with a full 3 finger grip similar to the SP 101.
