As in previous reviews, it was folded in shipment and does have a strong plastic smell, however, I tossed it in the clothes dryer on a regular setting for 4-5 minutes and it came out perfectly flat and ready for use. The smell isn't as strong in the shower as any hair products and soap that is scented over-powers the plastic smell. As far as the size, while it doesn't fit the exact size of my shower stall, it does cover a good portion (as expected)and does the job of preventing my slipping. I don't generally stand on the far sides or corners of the stall anyway, so wherever I stand, I'm always on the mat, so the size works for me. The design is attractive and the suction cups keep it in place. I would/will recommend this product for anyone looking for a shower stall mat.

Love the color, and feel on our feet. The size was ideal for the bathroom shower. Had to uncurl some of the pebble sides by heating with a hair dryer while curling it in the opposite direction.

I needed a bath mate for my shower stall that would fit a odd shape and not be a damn to the water flow in my shower. I have a fiber class shower stall with a bench built in. When my foot slipped the other day after exfoliating my feet, I felt it was time to put something down on the stall floor that would prevent a possible fall. The design of both mat finished and shinny finished pebbles is more appealing that the other solid mats I remember as a kid. And it's far more attractive. The open spots between the pebbles allows an easy flow of water and no back up so I'm not ankle deep in water by the end of my shower. I found some more 6 1/2 inch round little mats to fit in the smaller space of the stall floor made by the same company and style to cover the complete floor. These grip well, don't slide and do their job. You have to grip and pull to break the suction cups that hold the mat flat. It doesn't block the drain in anyway. My only dislike is the strong out gassing of plastic fumes from the new mat. I let it air out in the garage for a few days when it first came and washed it down but the scent was quite strong. It's been about a month and I still smell that plastic smell when the water is hot. If it had less out gassing the mat would be practically perfect.

UPDATE: I have removed it from my shower. My feet are more comfy without it. I also switched to a bar soap that is less slippery so hopefully, no one slips in the shower without it, As no one had slipping problems in the shower until we switched to Dove cucumber soap bars from Lifeguard Sport. We have gone back to Lifeguard as can't risk a slippery shower floor.Well this is not the review I expected to be giving this item. It looks very good in the shower stall as the amber color accents the bronze color Shower caddy I have  InterDesign York Bathroom Constant Tension Corner Shower Caddy for Shampoo, Conditioner, Soap, Razors - Bronze . The reason I only give it three stars is it hurts my feet. There are multiple little suction cups on the underside of this mat and they are hard plastic. So the mat does not feel flat under your feet, it feels like standing on multiple rocks about a half inch wide. Something like a rocky beach where every step there are small, hard rocks under your feet. I have had the mat in the shower two days and will likely take it out this week if my feet can't adjust to the discomfort. I should note, my feet are sensitive to walking barefoot on stone or hardwood floors, I need to wear padded shoes, so if your feet are not sensitive, then this bath mat may work for you.

Non-slip square shower mat gets very slippery when wet and if you use soap in the shower and rinse, gets more slippery. Also, suction cups don’t stick to shower floor. I wouldn’t recommend.

I liked the water draining and non slipping.

The price for the product is great! The mat has a good texture to it and doesn’t slip around the shower. With the “pebble” design, you can still shave and shower as normal with no blockage. I will say it smells weird and it’s folded when you first get it, so make sure to clean it off and lay it out flat before using it! (Or let the shower release the subtle creases for you.)

I read the other reviews, and realized they were tiny, so I bought two.That said, the pros are that these are nice to look at, provide adequate drainage, and do adhere to the floor very well.The cons include that they are not very comfortable; they are very small, they have hard plastic edges that hurt the tootsies a little compared to the rubber mat I had before and they are stinky. And the stink shows no sign of wearing off.As for the odor; I was patient and hoped it would dissipate. But 2 and 1/2 weeks later; these things still have a very powerful odor! The smell is akin to a skunk (I would know, I live by a river, and we have skunks nearby.) That said, the smell is also like a very strong french roast coffee. So when I think "skunk"; I wanna throw these things out. When I think "coffee", I still wanna throw these things out, but I'm also jonesing for a nice cuppa Starbucks verona. I will give it another 2 weeks, and if they still stink after a month, these mats are going outside, where I fear they may attract lovelorn skunks.I would not buy these again.

Bellissimo, colore stupendo, il disegno a forma di sassi è originale oltre che pratico perché così lo si può tagliare della forma e misura che serve.Appena arrivato puzza un po di plastica e ha un po di pieghe ma poi passa.Una volta bagnato il tappetino, le sue ventose aderiscono bene al piatto doccia e avendo anche molti buchi tra un sasso e l'altro scola bene l'acqua.Promosso

The mat should have been rolled up for packaging not folded. The mat will not sit flat & I can’t get rid of creases & curled up corners. Suckers won’t stick to shower tray. Not worth £27.44 paid & would not buy again.

Very poorly designed mat. When you step on it, the "pebbles" pinch your foot and it is quite painful. Wonder which genius designed this item with sharp edges. And the price... insanely high for such a badly designed product.
