You're the Inspiration: the Music of David Foster and Friends

There's a lot of talent on this album and it's much appreciated. It's good to unwind and relax to.

I found this fun to watch, especially enjoying the performances by Kenny G, and Celine Dion and Charice (she was incredibly fabulous and incredibly young to be so talented). The few negatives were that I wasn't interested in watching a couple of the performances, but enjoyed the other performers very much and there is definitely a problem with having to raise the volume if you wish to hear the talk, and then lower the volume once the music begins. The set was visually appealing and David Foster is incredibly gifted and despite what others say, I enjoy it when he speaks.

This is an amazing CD with many of my favorite hits. We play this CD almost every day. I didn't realize that it came with a DVD, which we will probably not watch. But the price is right for the CD alone. Quality of CD is excellent. We love it!

I purchased this dvd/cd combo after seeing the PBS special, it is a great concert, what was supplied in the dvd was great but it could have been better if they included all the songs from the concert. The CD is also good but could have been better if more songs were included, overall this import version do include more songs than the US Hitman version, so for the $2.00 more they are asking for, it worth the money.One request, put the entire concert on Bluray, this would make this concert video perfect!

This CD is excellent; I have seen David Foster on TV and the CD is true to form!!!

This is the CD/DVD that showed on our local PBS station for purchase. It is a wonderful mix of music from an extremely talented man. There are so many great artists and the entire CD is put together very well. I actually wish that every song that is on the DVD would have made it on the cd... but it gives for an extra treat when watching it because you see things you didn't get to hear before. Best purchase music-wise I've made in a long time...

Had to wait awhile for delivery but this is well worth the money and the wait. The seller Nagiry is really professional. I want to play this cd all the time. The songs, the artists and arrangements are all amazing. Cheers to David Foster - haven't seen dvd yet but expecting to be thrilled and overwhelmed

DVD is great

Las mejores canciones no son sólo de D. Foster, pero hay que reconocer que un buen bouquet de ellas son de ese señor, cuya carrera en solitario no funcionó-para bien, según parece. Pero The Corrs no están, Celine está en Las Vegas y las canciones de WHITNEY HOUSTON son degolladas por una chiquilla que afina mucho y grita mucho, pero que no tiene el IT o el METIER suficiente. De hecho, lo que cantó W. Houston debería ser patrimonio de la humanidad y admitir que en generaciones no vamos a tener una nueva WH aunque las discográficas nos quieran engañar con Beyonce o Rihanna, que son de otra liga.Recomiendo THE COLOUR OF MY LOVE, de Celine Dion. Allí están algunas de las mejores composiciones de Foster, y aunque pase el tiempo siguen siendo "guilty pleasures" que deberían de ser ya de una vez pecados y de los que no me avergüenzo. I REMEMBER L.A..........

S'il existe un disque enchanteur, aux sublimes arrangements, aux superbes mélodies et à l'interprétation irrésistible, c'est bien ce "You're the inspiration" qui rassemble autour du talent impressionnant de compositeur de David Foster, un certain nombre de ses amis interprètes.Ce spectaculaire concert d'une nuit seulement de David Foster et de ses célèbres amis donne ainsi à l'auteur-compositeur et producteur à succès l'occasion de rassembler sur ce disque parmi les meilleures pistes de son puits sans fond de tubes.Non seulement les chansons sont magiques, mais les performances sont tout aussi enchanteresses.
