Alexis Cupcake Book

In this book, Alexis learns a lesson about dealing with bullies and what payback is. Alexis made an offhand comment about a girl who she and the other Cupcake Clubbers don't like. The girl heard, and is nasty to Alexis from then on. It takes a bit for Alexis to realize why exactly this girl is being mean to her, and then she must figure out how to deal with the problem. I think this book can teach readers, both girls and boys, an important lesson on being careful with what you say and an important lesson on how to deal with bullies.

This is a great series for tween girls. The cupcake clubbers are creative, solved problems, deal with mean girl and the beginnings of boy crushes in a way that is positive.
