Bosch Electric Grass Trimmer EasyGrassCut 26 (280 Watt, Cutting Diameter 26 cm, Weight: 2 kg, in Carton Packaging)

Needed a replacement strimmer as mine had decided to give up. For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting much but this is a really great product from Bosch. Easy to use and quite lightweight. Handle can be changed to match the angle of cut. Don’t know how long the line will last but it’s not that much for a replacement spool. Wire stands up to some tough garden weeds and a good length of cable.

Ok sooooo, keep in mind I have NEVER cut grass be it a lawnmower or strimmer before in my life. It came today, took 5 minutes for me to assemble (I’m bad with things like that). Took me a second to figure out also how to actually turn it on 😂😂😂. My little garden was an absolute mess having recently moved in. What I didn’t do, was tighten the line enough so it did catch and I had to untangle it and redo the line spool tightly. I caught the line a 5 times (my own fault being a newbie) but after about 1 hour (20/30m of that was me redoing the line and trying to catch my cat in heat to bring her back indoors!!!) I’ve managed to tidy my little garden significantly! Would highly recommend it’s comfortable to use, easy to assemble, easy to adjust on your mistakes. For the price it’s a 10/10 for me. The cable could be a tad longer but I had a spare 10m cable extension. Ive also ordered a pack of 6 spare line spools at like £10 from amazon also for next time round! ( Search Bosch strimmer lines, you’ll find it easily). Waiting for my rake to be delivered but I’ve attached photos of the before and after with my limited experience! Very happy customer!

Impressive strimmer, I thought from other reviews that I'd have trouble with flimsy wire but I was pleased it was quite strong and did the job. Easy to use ( I did have to find a YouTube video to put it together, as the instructions were missing ,otherwise it would have been a 5 star ) not too heavy either

The only thing that put me off was the cheap line it is supplied with. It snapped every minute or less, depending in where it was positioned. The strimmer itself is fantastic, powerful, relatively quiet in use, lightweight with easy to operate controls. It is NOT self feeding, so you have to manually adjust the wire once it is worn down, but this is better in my view, primarily because those self-feeding one's tend to waste line. Overall, an excellent strimmer that is both well built and will do the job intended and then some.

This was so simple to put together. Didn't even need the instructions. The shield is good and you need to screw it into place to secure it. The only negatives was that the lead is very short so had to purchase an extension lead and I found it a bit heavy and kept having to stop briefly. My garden isn't the biggest but still struggled a bit. Also the strimmer cord kept snapping so will need to purchase a stronger one. I'm still happy with it despite these issues and a good price.

Okay for light use, but the single string blade isn't good enough for anything other than light touch up

Very disappointed with this trimmer, was expecting more from Bosch! Bought this to replace my old Black&Decker trimmer which I had for 25 years without fail. The line feed on this Bosch trimmer is awful. Every time the line snapped just going along the border edging, it doesn’t just brake off a little bit it snaps all the way into the trimmer line housing. Which means the automatic feed doesn’t work. You have to take it apart to completely re feed the line!! If you take a little bit too much line it flies off as you restart the trimmer and it cut my leg several times! Just not worth the hassle, wish I had stuck with Black&Decker Can’t return it as I’ve been away and it’s just out of the 30 day return 🙁

Being electric I didn't expect much but to my surprise it worked. I don't have bushes or anything woody just grass and leaves and I wanted to make it smaller to put into the composter and it worked.
