I love my pet feeder and it is so convenient when I am away from home for any length of time. I can just go to the app to feed if I want to give a little extra treat to my cats in between the feedings I've already set up. Has never let me down.

So far this has been a GREAT addition to the household. I have it plugged into the wall so I haven't had any use with only batteries so far, but the set up is very easy with the provided instructions. The times are in military time so you have to do a little mental math if you're not familiar. You can also have it send a notification to your phone when it has completed a feeding which is nice for when you're gone.It did take me a while to convert their portion sizes to how much my cat eats with her specific food. But you can do test runs with app to help you.I'm giving it 4/5 because when it dispenses food it is SO LOUD. we had to take out the steel pan because it scared us awake the first nigh (I live in a small apartment). Even with it out it still wakes me up. The machine itself doesn't make a noise throughout the day.

The product has a good life for about 2 years. I liked it until then. It started messing up and the pulses that turn the servo motor began delivering only a ⅓ of what it used to per portion. It only allows a maximum setting of 12 portions which is what I have to use now to generate ½ to ¾ of a cup due to the inconsistency of the portions behind generated. My dog gets a cup for both breakfast and dinner so now I have to add in a lunch feeding time of 7 pulses to allow her to get the same amount of food she’s always gotten.The app SmartLife and connect ability with WiFi are easy for setup and it was a great product. They just need to design it to last longer. I saw this as an investment with low usage where the 12VDC motor should have lasted at least 5 years.

I’m genuinely impressed. The set-up was quick and much easier than I expected, especially with connecting to wi-fi. The most challenging part for me is determining how often to feed our "old man Bill" and how many portions to schedule. I'm sure he would argue the more the better. It's quite and so far, it's been great for our busy family!
