Fantasy FX - SILVER, Water-Based Face & Body Paint

I think I only purchased one tube for my Marge Simpson Halloween costume, I would recommend 2 bottles for better coverage. I applied it in a couple layers to my face until I was happy with the opacity. The bottle was running out so my neck and chest, upper back, arms and hands got what was left in the tube. For reference, my skin color is the color of peanut butter and I didn't use any primer or a base. Walked my daughter all over the place trick or treating and I didn't crack or peel. I was in and out of the car and the only evidence you could see of my painted body was a few blue streaks from my hair on the roof 😅. The yellow dried down comfortably and did not budge until the end of the night when I washed it off. I did not set the yellow paint either. I have sensitive skin and am also sensitive to fragrance, so this product was great. My daughter also has sensitive skin and wants to be Pikachu for Halloween this year, so I will be stocking up on more!

Originally got this paint to wear to a Twenty One Pilots concert-- and I still wear it to this day if I want to dress as Clancy or someone else. I was originally enticed by the promise of not needing any sort of setting powder... but you're probably better off getting paint that needs it anyways. The paint itself does the job if you need something in a pinch— but the paint comes off INCREDIBLY quickly, mind you, I've used this on my hands and neck, and while my neck lasts way longer on its own, the paint flakes on my hand almost instantly, and while I don't expect it to stay on for long, especially on a high traffic area like your hands, it rubs off after coming in contact with almost anything, even after it's been dried. I dressed up as Clancy for Halloween and my hands didn't even last the whole day without it looking patchy and flaky, even after applying it the same as said in the other reviews: mixing the paint with water. And I even did my utmost care to try not to come in contact with anything that *could* take the paint off more, to no avail. Again, if you need this for something quick and simple, it can do the trick, but don't count on its durability.

This product is okay. Just okay. It will work for what you need it for, but it is not professional quality by any means. If you need a product in a pinch and this is all that is available, it will be fine. However, if you are able to use any other product you probably should. It was hard to put on simply because it was start flaking off during the process. You can't build on it either because it will flake off the previous layer. I don't think I would buy this product again, but it did get me through my costume party (kind of). Pros: - Easy to remove - A little bit does go a long way - It didn't stain my skin after removal - It didn't irritate or break my skin out Cons: - Maybe a little too easy to remove - it doesn't stay on very well at all - Not buildable - Gets on everything - Does not dry very fast. I ended up using a blowdryer to get it to dry enough for me to move around without getting green everywhere (Which I inevitably did despite my bests efforts not to)

APPLICATION - I bought this for a shrek costume, and I applied it with a makeup sponge/fingers. It went on very patchy and uneven like many other reviews have mentioned. That might be due to the sponge application instead of a brush, so I wouldn't dismiss the product here. The color was great, especially in the places where it didn't apply patchily. I found that if there were any natural oils on my face, the makeup just wouldn't apply to those areas, and thus we have patchiness. COLOR PAYOFF - As said above, the color is great when you can get it to apply nicely. It is very sheer though. LONGEVITY - This is not a long-lasting cream makeup. This will last an hour or two (if you're lucky) before, like many other reviewers have said, the makeup will flake off and proceed to apply itself to your furniture, clothes, and the general population. ALLERGIC REACTION - This is my own fault because I didn't patch test. I have sensitive skin (which I didn't know until after trying this product) and am acne prone, so really this reaction was caused by my own stupidity and neglect. However, if I can save someone else from my silly mistakes of the past, then this will be worth writing! I wore this makeup for about 6 hours, and the next day I woke up with a horrible rash all over my face. Three weeks later, and I'm still dealing with the rash, which has honestly been a nightmare. For the sake of your skin, PATCH TEST THIS PRODUCT. OVERALL - If you use a brush, intend to wear this for an hour or two at most, and have very durable skin, give this product a try! If any of those things don't apply to your situation, steer very clear of this product and go with something else. Because there are so many stipulations that the company does not specify (no, you cannot use a sponge, and you cannot have sensitive skin and use this, and you cannot wear it for more than an hour) when using this product, I am giving it a solid 1 star. In my opinion, give your money to a different company and look for a better product.

This stuff is bomb! I usually steer away from using face paint because of the following reasons: itchiness or irritation to the skin, difficulty in removing the paint, or peeling of the paint throughout the night. Let me tell you, none of this happened! It was easy to apply and it dries fairly quick. During a party I was at, I was nervous that the paint would make me itchy, irritated or peel. NOPE! Not once did I have to itch my face or the paint wasn’t peeling. When applying, I used one layer but I felt like it was enough and it turned out super green. You don’t need a ton which is great so you can save the tube for the next time you need it. The only thing I would have to say is be careful of getting it on your clothes or other stuff. Some of it came out of my clothes so I was grateful. At the end of the night I was scared if it was going to be hard to take off and if my skin was going to be stained NOT AT ALL!! It came off better than makeup and all I used was water at first and then a makeup wipe to remove the excess. And it didn’t even take that long. This is definitely a face paint to rely on.

I was an Oompa Loompa for our office Halloween costume contest and OMG this is not disappoint!! I at first tried to put the paint directly onto my skin but it became dry in certain places so I washed it off, moisturized and then combined a little concealer with the orange paint and it was SO much better. Went on creamy and did not dry. I applied with a sponge. Some areas were a little uneven so I went ahead and added orange eye shadow powder over my face. Of course, nothing is perfect but this did the job amazingly. I got so many compliments. People were taking pictures of me when I was driving on the freeway lol. I did not realize how bright and pigmented it was until I looked at myself in the sunlight. Removal was easy. I used a makeup wipe and then did a gentle face wash. Everything came off fine and I did not break out or have irritated skin. I wore this for 9 hours!! I highly suggest this product for anyone looking for a deep orange color!

Ich bin begeistert!!! Perfekt für Fasching und Halloween. Zieht auch gut in die Haut ein und bleibt nicht an Kleidung oder Partner haften. Abschminken geht sogar nur mit Wasser.

YEPPPP, RECOMMEND FORSURE. Stayed on for about 5 hours of partying all night. Was the BEST Halloween costume I could’ve chosen! HAHA! (Use baby wipes for the easiest wipe off)
