JET Air Filtration System, 1-Micron Filter, 1000 CFM, 120V 1Ph (AFS-1000C)

This air cleaner Is fantastic!! I use it in my small barn for my goats. I use sawdust bedding and hay which causes a lot of dust. This thing sucks up the dust so well ! It has an Auto setting which allows it to monitor the dust itself, and it does a great job! The moment I pull hay out to feed the goats the auto setting increases it's speed to suck up the dust. Every time my goats play it increases it's speed to suck up the dust, and everytime I clean the barn it increases it's speed to remove the dust. It is very quiet. I love that it is made of vinyl, it makes it very quiet. I love it, and would definitely buy it again.

Quiet and moves a lot of air. Pre filters are cheap and readily available. I haven’t had to purchase a secondary/main filter yet. The auto and timer modes make operation thoughtless.

Put this in my small wood shop. Should have got this a long time ago. I love the automated features. It's a little pricey but I like Jet's quality.

I had a 8-year-old Wen workshop air filtration unit, but it was very loud on high and no auto fan ability. I bought this JET AFS-1000C and the noise is much lower with higher CFMs plus the auto filter powers the fan up when it senses more dust in the air. I have this hanging from the ceiling and the dust in my wood shop is noticeably less. Very happy with this unit so far.

The best purchase I've made for myself in a long time. I have a 400 sf woodworking shop with a 10' ceiling and use three different dust collection systems on my equipment. About two years ago I developed a chronic cough that was really getting me down. Turns out it was caused by a built-up sensitivity to wood dust. Started using a respirator when generating dust and that worked well but was uncomfortable and got in the way. Researched air filtration systems and found the JET best suited my situation as it could turn over all air in my shop every 5-6 minutes if needed. Ordered from Amazon and it arrived a couple of days later. Easy to install and simple to operate -- just make sure you put the remote control somewhere you can find it easily as it's fairly small and hides under tools and materials. The automatic feature adjusts airflow to the amount of dust in the air and the filter is easy to access. I've used this system for about four months now and no cough, although, I still use a respirator when generating a lot of dust (hand sanding or routing without dust collector attached).

I would write 0 stars for this If I could . I have bought 3 of these. All 3 have not lasted over 4 months . They replaced the first one so I got another one after the replacement broke . They wanted to send me a replacement motor which would have involved paying someone to fix it with the new motor they sent. My 3rd literally just shut off today out of the blue and is completely dead . Something in the “brain” just shuts off after a while . I use this all day at work and clean the filters every single day. Bad product , cheaply made, and overpriced .

I have this hanging in the middle of my shop from the ceiling and it works well. It is pretty quiet. I really like the self shut off timer. It was easy to hang by myself because it is not very heavy. I recommend this for anyone looking for additional air filtration in a shop to capture sawdust and keep the air moving.

Easy to set up and clean, lightweight and quiet! Only con: my work involves a LOT of dust being consistently generated and this did not filter the particles in the air as quickly as I thought it would. It would filter them within a minute of no additional dust generation though.
