I bought it as a spare but have not yet had to use it.

Does this fit JD gx345 54 “?

I used it on the older style 54" deck. I believe it is the style just before your style. The difference in the decks is how they mount. I would think that the spindles would be the same but I'm not 100% sure. The spindle is working fine for me.
