Sylvania LED Light Bulb, 100W Equivalent A19, Efficient 14W, Frosted Finish, 1500 Lumens, Bright White - 4 Pack (78102)

These were a good replacement for the 3 fading, mismatched bulbs in our old kitchen ceiling fan. Now, we have even, crisp white light again (100w brightness for only 14w burned!). Makes cooking & cleaning a lot better when you can see what you're doing! LOL. No concerns, since these are Sylvania brand. Should last years and years. Only time will tell about that aspect. Labeling denotes these are energy efficient. Will certainly be better than the fluorescent bulbs they're replacing. They get warm but not flinching-hot to the touch, like OG tungsten bulbs. So far, we have been quite pleased with these Sylvania 100w LED bulbs.

These are bright, but not too bright. They’re not too yellow or too blue, nor do they flicker like compact fluorescents do. You can be near your light fixture without feeling like there’s a spotlight in your room even at a 100W equivalent. We have cathedral ceilings and most lights are too dim to illuminate the room well enough for reading. We have pairs of lamps in our living room, bedrooms, home office, etc. and these are great for providing a well lit environment without being too harsh. We don’t have dimmers on any of the light fixtures so I don’t know if these can work well with a dimmer. They are long lasting, don’t let out any audible hiss (cheaper brands are prone to making sounds that drive me crazy) and they have been easy enough to re-order when we need more. They arrive in a box that provides excellent support to the bulbs and have never had any damaged in shipping. All around perfect general purpose bulbs that seem to last and last.

Not too warm / not too cool for the art studio I installed them in. One of the bulbs flickers though and intermittently goes out, and the bulbs are more expensive than most. I wish other LED bulbs on the market were this well balanced though regarding the 3500K lumen output.

I have only been using them for about a month so I can't comment on their longevity or energy efficiency, but I absolutely love this Kelvin for indoor lighting. At most big box home improvement stores you can only find warm white or daylight light bulbs. Warm White is what I usually get because daylight is just too garish and bright white for my taste. But the warm white is often too yellow. I think that 3,000 Kelvin to 3,500 Kelvin is the perfect mix between yellow and blue. Very happy with these light bulbs and I can't wait to replace all the light bulbs in my house with them!

Bulbs are good in color/temp and brightness, much better than the prior LED bulbs I had been using. I replaced the prior ones because one bulb started flickering after about 1 year of use and eventually died, a second one started flickering a few months after. Sadly, Having only had these for roughly two months, one has already died. One morning it didn't come on, I tapped it and it lit. The next time it remained out no matter what. Being past the return date for Amazon, I will have to contact Sylvania for a replacement.

Love them! These bulbs instantly brightened my bathroom to what I needed! The bulbs DO NOT get hot. Very affordable; as I checked around locally and on line for prices. Thank you! Pics look like yellowish light but I assure you....my whole bathroom is bright white light.

This was my second purchase of these bulbs to use in work lamps on tables in my art space. Three out of 4 from the first set still work after 5 years, using them 15 - 30 a week. Not the best odds but better than incandescent. At 3500 kelvins, they provide natural that's not too warm (yellow) and not too cool (blue) so white is white and colours are true. They supplement overhead led lighting to fill the room with bright light that's easy on the eyes. The base fits into "standard" most common size lamps, which are the same size as older incandescent bulbs for regular household lamps. If you need dimmable do some research - I don't think these are dimmable.

These are bright bulbs and they seem to be very colour correct for LEDs as compared to natural daylight. That's exactly what I wanted.

The light is just the right temperature (colour) for reading and for darker hallways or rooms, since it is not too yellow like 3000K can be. The 3500 Kelvin temperature makes this ideally suited for general use, because it provides better visibility than the much yellower 2700K or 3000K. Also, it is very reliable. I have had no failures of any of the bulbs so far.

Two of the bulbs were faulty and didn't work consistently when switching the light on (tried it in a couple different light fixtures and got the same result. Swapping the light bulb to a different one from the box seemed to solve the issue, so I can only assume it was an issue with the bulb). The ones that did work were nice and bright, which is exactly what I wanted.
