This is one of those plain-looking cleaning tools that earns its place fast. The sponge is sold as a super absorbent block for household jobs, cars, boats, furniture, and bathtubs, and the size is right in that sweet spot where it feels easy to grip without being too small to do real work. I gave it 5 stars because it made a bunch of boring cleaning tasks easier in a very immediate way. I first used it after wiping down the bathroom sink and tub, and it soaked up the leftover water much better than the sad kitchen sponge I’d been using before. Instead of pushing water around and calling it a day, this thing actually drinks it up. The same went for the car. After a rinse, it handled the stray beads of water on the hood and around the mirrors without turning into a floppy mess halfway through. What I liked most is that it feels useful in regular life, not just in some staged product photo. It’s the kind of sponge you grab when you spill a full glass on the counter, notice dust collecting on a shelf, or want to wipe down the inside of the windshield without leaving everything streaky and damp. It has enough thickness to feel sturdy in the hand, and it does not feel like it’s going to crumble after a week. The only real drawback is that a sponge like this still needs a little care. You want to rinse it well and let it dry properly, or it starts feeling less pleasant than it did on day one. That’s hardly shocking, but it is the difference between a sponge that stays handy and one that gets demoted to garage duty. Still, for the price and how many little jobs it covers, this is an easy 5-star buy for me. It is not fancy. It is just genuinely useful, which is better.

Every aspect of this sponge is perfect (after cutting it in half). It's lite-weight, holds a good amount of water, doesn't fall apart after being scratched up and losing a little bit of pieces, dries when absorbing water off of flat services, squeezes into tight spaces and fills the area to wipe it down, doesn't drip after you flick the excess off, and it doesn't get dirty hardly at all since everything just falls off of it. We used to hate cleaning windows that had grass or pet hair covering it, but these sponges won't get tangled with it. Just rub it to collect it and throw it out. It's so nice! This is now the go to tool for tracks and sills cleaning of our customers.

This is the best sponge I ever used for drying up a smooth surface. I use it daily to pick up the water left in the shower after using it. It does a great job. It only takes a few seconds to moisten a completely dry sponge and then wring it out so that it's ready to use. On a smooth surface it is a little hard to move around because it behaves like it is "sucking itself to the surface" getting the water off. I have been using it now for about two months and it behaves like new. I don't know how it would work on rough surfaces or whether it would be durable in that situation. I liked it so much that I am giving one as a Christmas present.

Good sponge its absorbs a lot of liquid wet it a little first before using

These were great. I have a chest freezer that is not frost-free. It needs to be defrosted and cleaned out at least twice a year. It’s a messy job but these sponges help a lot. I drop them in the bottom of the freezer while the ice is melting and they sop up all the water. I then hold a cloth under them and take them to the sink where I squeeze all the water out. I usually have to do this twice unless I haven’t defrosted the freezer when I should. Before I bought these, I had to use towels to sop up the water and that was a huge mess. I am very happy I bought these.

Firm and smooth . Works great cleaning tile grout on final wipe . Doesn't re wet the grout and leaves joints flush. Product is made in China . Amazon doesn't show that side of the wrapper in the pics . The color doesn't last . It will fade the first day . Same China sponge can be bought for 4.00 elsewhere.

I....have a sponge issue. I like to use them as fidgets, I am totally that person who occassionally lulls themselves to sleep by watching sponge ASMR videos. Hey, don't judge. So I didn't know what to expect when I ordered this one. It showed up and was...weird. it didn't feel like a sponge, I didn't want to use it as a desk fidget, so I figured I would just use it to clean up spills. It felt like squishy rubber. I thought that there was no way this was going to sponge up anything. I filled a glass of water and stuck the sponge sideways into it. The entire glass of water disappeared. I immediately called my husband in to see this magic trick. I pulled the sponge out of the glass and poured water directly onto it, and the water vanished. It was so cool! I eventually reached max water capacity of the sponge (which was alot!) The sponge felt heavier but not overly drippy despite holding a glass of water plus. I twisted it and the water immediately came pouring out. It dispelled every bit of water and the sponge was back to normal. What in the world!? This thing is fantastic! It is so durable, a nice size to hold and worth its weight in gold. Why are people not talking about this thing?

Sucks up a lot of water.

Back in the day I drove an old car that would leak rainwater into the floor well of the passenger side. It was a nightmare, until I found this sponge. It consumed every drop of water and held onto it until i wrung it out. My car no longer had a footpath! Lol Fast forward to 2024, I had a leak under my kitchen sick and no one could fix it fast enough! I didn't know exactly where the leak was coming from so using a bucket didn't contain all the water. Then I saw my MIRACLE SPONGE on Amazon! I seriously couldn't buy it fast enough- like, take my money!!! I put that little blue sweetheart under the sink and it again consumed every drop! When I picked it up it was heavy as a brick, it had soaked up so much H2O. It kept the cupboard wood from getting mushy/moldy. I don't use it to wash things but I'd wager that it does a great job at that too. The sponge isn't normal sponge material. It feels more like a dense rubber-like foam. Sorcery! It's pricier than a "normal" sponge but worth every cent. It will last longer and be far more effective than any other sponge on the market. I Highly recommend this product

It is not usable. I used it to absorb falling water droplets but it reflects them absorbing very little.
