Xiaomi Mesh System AX3000(1-pack)

It works great with the AX9000 Router. You have two ways to connect it with the AX9000. The first is wireless. All you need to do is press the mesh button on the router and the AX3000 at the same time. It will take a couple of seconds, and it will connect automatically. Make sure they are close to each other while connecting.The second way is via Ethernet cable. Just connect the cable from the router to the mesh, and it will automatically connect.Software Update:After I connected it, I used the Mi Router Website to configure some stuff and Update the device. I got two updates, both of which went smoothly without any issues.For the people saying that it's useless in the UAE and there is no UAE in the region list, it's okay. You can use the United Kingdom or US region, and it will work without any problems. For my preference, I used the UK for both my router AX9000 and this mesh, and there are totally no issues. and I can control them via the Mi Home app from my same UAE account by switching between UK and UAE from the settings because I have other Xiaomi devices in the UAE region, like the Xiaomi Lamp, etc.In my opinion, I feel this will be useless if you don't have a Xiaomi router like the AX9000 already installed.Overall, it fits my need to cover more areas of my home, and I'm connecting via Ethernet cable and getting my full download and upload speeds on 5G at 160MHz.

Worked fine on day 1. Barely used it for a week. Went out of the country on work and came back a few days later, and no wifi signal any more.Hard reset, power cycled. Nothing. The light is on, but other than that, it's dead.UPDATE: Good customer service. Replaced it with a new unit with no hassles.UPDATE 2: Almost 10 months now with no issues. Good product.

The product is good however it doesnt provide coverage in my apartment more than one room even next room link speed drops to 100 im using 750mbps connection but on wifi its not going over 450mbps if ur close and if ur far it will maintain 100mbps on mesh im using it with ax1800

I received this on 28th and wanted to use it as a new router. I could configure it somehow. The manual is useless, however the mobile app helped me to configure the same. But to my surprise my bandwidth of 750 Mbps from the service provider dropped to max of 100 Mbps that too in the same room. In dual mode 5G is not visible. If i combine the two the speed is the same which is max 98-100 Mbps download and about 80 Mbps upload.I will test it for a few days more but will then return it if the speed does not improve. The mobile app also does not have any source to get help in terms of a number to call or chat option. Not too fascinated by the product.

Very good product with great futures and wifi coverage

It does not have an external switch to be set as a repeater but you can do it in the settings menu by selecting repeater versions either with or without cable. It connected easily with my Etisalat D-link router and extended WiFi to distant rooms.
