I clearly waited way too long to upgrade my storage as my flabbers are absolutely gasted at how fast things can transfer on a quality product like this one! Really. I am a photographer as a side hobby and between that and just being a typical mom in 2026, my phone runs out of space extremely fast! Clearing out has always been an absolute pain...until discovering this. It is incredibly convenient, as it plugs directly into my S25 Ultra. It's really wild if I stop to think about it, it stores half a terabyte of data while being this tiny, super lightweight thing. It takes up nearly no space, so best to put a lanyard on it so as not to lose it. I have run into no issues. It transfers even large files at a very fast rate. All files are transferred with no corruption, no interruption, no lag. I will absolutely be buying this again when my next cleanup is needed.

I needed a USB-C flash drive to load music in our new Audi. Our old car had built-in hard drive space and you'd transfer the files over. Now you have to leave the drive plugged into the charging port in the center console and the media program reads the catalog from there. This flash drive was recommended for its superfast read time @ 400MB/s which means the car can scan and play the music much faster than a slower drive. At 128GBs this drive will hold 10x the music files that my old car held. I won't have to limit groups to just their greatest hits. Now I can have entire catalogs loaded. I would suggest to anyone creating a carplay music folder to keep a copy of the folder on their computer. At some point all flash drives will fail and to be safe you should have your media folder mirrored on your hard drive. I feel like this drive is built to last and hopefully it'll keep running as smooth as it does right now for the time that we own the car.

I use my phone for video camera work. For context, I bought a 1TB phone specifically because of that. I may take 250-300GB of video in one weekend. MTP is far too pathetically slow method to transfer such large amounts of video from my phone to my PC, and Cloud methods are not really any better. So, for such situations I usually use a portable media device such as flash drive or external NVMe to do the transfer. Copy it from my phone to the flash drive, copy off of the drive onto my PC. Fastest method by far. I have lately been using a NVMe USB enclosure for this purpose, but due to NVMe's (relatively) high power draw, I have to use a USB dongle with power input while making the transfer. Not the end of the world but far from convenient. In the past I have experimented with other USB-C drives, but they've all been far too slow in the write department to be realistic. You may have 300MB/s of read but if your write speed is a paltry 21-22MB/s, you're as good as useless for me. This was the case for the older Samsung USB-A flash drives, and even the newer USB 3.1 gray ones. This one, by contrast, is still not amazing on writes which is to be expected for a traditional flash drive, but it is FAR better than any USB-C drives I have used in the past. On very large transfers (100+GB) it usually settles down to around 75-80MB/s within the first 30 seconds or so, and stays at that speed for the entire transfer. Doesn't get too hot (just warm) and works well. Reads are excellent so far. On Windows I'm getting around 365MB/s continuously. The only real issue with this drive is on very large reads, it will overheat. It gets quite hot on these high speed reads and after around 75-80GB, mine disconnected and stopped the transfer. Thankfully Windows seems pretty good about file management and after it sits for a while and cools down, hitting Try Again seems to work reliably. Overall very happy with this drive. It's pretty darn small for 256GB, and fast enough that I can deal with it for the convenience of not needing to use any dongles.

I like this a lot. I've been wanting a USB-C flash drive for a while and when I finally got a new (previous-gen) Ipad with USB-C it seemed like the perfect time to go for it. It is quite fast. I never experience the crazy speeds that get advertised with portable storage but this is definitely faster than a USB-A flash drive. It made moving files on to the ipad so easy to just plug this in, have the ipad immediately recognize it and move the files where I wanted them. It seems to work even faster transferring to the ipad than to/from my PC's, but that's just an anecdotal observation. It is CRAZY compact. TINY. That's a good thing and a bad thing. In the past I kept a small USB-A flash drive on my keychain carabiner and lost it when it came off of the carabiner. This is even smaller so I am very cautious about not losing it. On top of that, it has a removable cap that is just begging to get lost. It's not super loose, but it doesn't take much effort to intentionally uncap it. But, both the cap and the drive itself have those tiny little loops to attach a phone wrist strap. I had an extra one lying around so I looped it through both the drive and the cap. It keeps the two pieces together and the wrist strap is about 4 times longer than the drive itself so it makes it harder to lose, though that does make the package you're carrying less tiny. But, it's small size makes it convenient to plug into devices, especially devices you use portably. You don't have a huge stick jutting out of a USB port on a laptop or phone, which is nice. Just be aware that you'll need to be very careful not to lose this. It's CRAZY small. I noticed it can get pretty warm when you transfer a lot of files at once. Only when it's working hard; it doesn't get hot when it's idly plugged in or anything. It's pretty nifty, but it has a problem. I'm not going to say it's a flaw of this device, but the kind of phone and tablet cases that you can always keep on your device do not have holes around the USB-C ports that are big enough to plug this in. There's not enough clearance in the cuts on those cases for the plastic body of this to fit through and the plug itself can't plug-in. I'm certainly no expert on mobile device cases; it took me a long time (and multiple destroyed phones) to finally start using one. Maybe there are some cases out there that this would fit in, but my assumption is the ones I have are typical so I imagine most cases won't allow you to plug this drive in. And, of course, those cases are designed to stay on all the time, so they're kind of a pain to pry off just to plug this in quickly. Makes it inconvenient. Now, if you're someone who carries your phone without a case or slips your ipad in a padded sleeve rather than a cover/case that's always attached, this'll be great. It's so easy to use to get files to/from your mobile devices. But keep in mind what kind of case you use because it might negate the convenience of this. If you DO use an always-on case, I'd recommend getting an external SSD that you would attach with a USB-C cable. I have an older Samsung SSD that I haven't used so much for a while, but now I'm using it a lot because a standard USB-C cable's plug fits in my ipad case just fine. Either that or find a small little USB-C-to-C dongle/adapter/extender that will give you a plug with a standard cable casing that'll fit into this flash drive, though again, that kind of negates some of it's convenience by having to add another adapter into the mix. In summary, it's a really nifty and fast and TINY drive. I'll leave it to others to scientifically benchmark and critique speed and performance, but to a casual observer it works well. But it's size can be a double-edged sword if you're not careful, and if you keep your mobile device in a case/shell at all times, it's probably not going to fit into the USB-C port.

Great value for The money. Works exceptionally well. Fast transfer times in a small product. Compact and easy to use. And that's well, has great data integrity and security. The item is very light. Connects well to a computer with a USB C port. I highly recommend this item.

What makes this choice critical is the nature of in-vehicle security cameras — they typically provide no alert or notification when a flash drive fails or becomes corrupted. You simply would not know it stopped recording until the moment you need the footage most. In high-stakes situations like these, reliability is non-negotiable, and Samsung has consistently delivered on that front over the years to me. The compact form factor is another notable advantage, as it fits discreetly and seamlessly within the interior cabin of my vehicle without drawing attention or obstructing anything. As for storage capacity, 256GB is more than sufficient for continuous recording needs. To put it in perspective, 64GB is typically the standard entry-level option, while 128GB serves as a common upgrade — making 256GB a future-proof choice for those who prioritize uninterrupted, long-term recording without frequent data management.

The 2026 Honda Passport is very finicky as to what thumb drives will work for play your own music as opposed to streaming music from a service. The 2026 Honda Passport has a USB C port only. Honda did away with the older USB type ports for the latest model change overs. I tried a SANDISK 128GB Extreme Fit USB-C thumb drive which did not work, not recognizable by the 2026 Honda Passport infotainment operating system. This one however works fine. It can hold my entire mp3 music library with room to spare. It comes formatted with FAT32 which is required by the Honda Passport infotainment system per the manual. So it does not need to be nor should be reformatted for this application. It fits well in the USB C port and does not stick out too far. It loads somewhat faster than my SAMSUNG FIT Plus 3.1 USB Flash Drives with an adapter. Speed is important with the 2026 Honda Passport since 95% of the time it must reload all the metadata each time the car is restarted. This causes it to lose its place in any playlist, that was playing through, when the car was last turned off. In addition until it reloads everything you can only search by folder name, not artist, song, nor genre, just by folder. Reloading about 50 gigs worth of music metadata into the Honda infotainment system takes about five minutes. This drive only got moderately warm when being written to or read from. It took about 30 minutes to write the 50 gigs worth of music to this drive via a USB 3.1 USB port with a 3.1 USB to USB adapter. I recommend staying with the smaller drive sizes or just not loading them up too much due to how slow the Honda's infotainment system OS is.

This is so great. It's perfect for backing up videos and photos on my phone. Especially when traveling and you dont want to lose anything or running out of space. Thats why I got it. Its so small it fits in my wallet.

Bought the first one before I went on a trip to Adelaide, South Australia. Was using my GoPro to vlog all the trip and every morning I would copy all my videos to my mobile (Pixel 7 Pro) and then move everything to this flash drive for easy backup. After the trip I wanted to edit the video but I thought to give it a try to work on DaVinci Resolve straight out of the drive and it shocked me... I edited all the 4K footage from GoPro without loosing a single frame drop in DaVinci Resolve and after editing the Day 1 vlog I ordered the second one immediately. I am satisfied with the speed and how small is it. Waiting for Samsung to release in 512GB or 1TB :)
