Once You Learn...
I've had/seen this product in a lot of Dremel accessories, but I never knew how to use it correctly. After researching the directions, this compound is the way to go when trying to clean-up or polish items that have been neglected due to not cleaning them. This product is easy to use ( with the correct tools/attachments ), you'll wonder why you haven't cleaned up anything from the past.

OMG!! This Stuff is AWESOME!
I have been DIYing with adjusting my dentures. I couldn't afford to keep running to my dentist to get adjustments done because it was NOT cheap. So I bought a Dremel and started doing it myself. The ONLY problem was I couldn't get the areas slick, like the rest of my dentures I didn't need to adjust. In fact, the surface (not being slick) caused just as much discomfort. So I went looking on Amazon. I was hit with several options but I didn't know which to buy. I thought the more expensive ones would be best, but I didn't want to risk it. So I bought this product, which was the least expensive, and man am I glad I did. This stuff is so easy to use it didn't even have instructions. So, using common sense, I put some on my finger and rubbed it on all the areas I had sanded down. And....VOILA, SLICK! I couldn't be happier with the results. Dremel Polishing Compound has earned my highest recommendation.

This is SMALL
Not sure I realized that the content is so minimal. The vial is about the size of a dime in circumference, and less than an inch tall.

It is best to wipe down the surface with a wet cloth ...
I currently work as a janitor and decided to try out this product in addition to the products provided by my company to clean stainless steel and metal dispensers and handicap bars, as well as the plastic toilet paper dispensers. This product is very affordable. I purchased this product for under 10 dollars, with most of the options having a free-shipping option available. The product arrived in 2 days which was extremely quick. I did expect the container of product to be larger but realized that a little goes a long way. This product can be applied with a brush or a soft cloth. The brush and other accessories would have to be purchased separately if one wanted to go that route. It is best to wipe down the surface with a wet cloth first to remove any excess dirt and then dry it with a dry cloth. I placed a small amount of the compound on the cloth and applied it to the areas that needed polishing. I expected it to be somewhat clumpy as it is a fairly thick product. However, it was quite the opposite. When applied, the product spread on nice and even. The smell of the product is tolerable and not too strong and the stain it leaves on the cloth comes mostly out with soap and water. The only complaint I have is the amount of product. I wish there was a bit more product for the price, but again, the product can and does go a long way if used properly. So in all, for the price, it is a cheap and easy quick fix for polishing up metal and plastic products. It gives a shiny and clean polished look. Gets ride of marks, and smudges and even gets rid of some rust, which I didn’t expect!

Like the compound but where's the beef, there's a very small container of Polishing Compound, like how it works but I a just wish it was a little more

Best Polishing Compound Ever!!!!!
Dremel 421 Polishing CompoundI had my friend/testdummy try out this Dremel Polishing Compound with a soft cloth (matchless sock). I handed him a tarnish piece of Silver.....a Carving Knife from my mother's silver set. The knife has been tarnished for years and even tarnished in all the small crevices of the design. 1 minute plus soft sock and polishing compound and the knife was shining brighter than I have ever seen it. No horrible smell of my mother's silver polishing compound either. After this result I challenged him to use the polishing attachment of his dremel tool and see if he could get all the nook and crevices in the handle to shine also. about a minute of using the polishing tool he brought the knife to me. There was details he polished that I didn't even know was in the knife. I was so pleased that now he is stuck polishing the other 100 pieces of this set. What??? I cant have one shiny piece and the others not match can I? My poor southern mom would be rolling in her grave, bless her heart. We give this product a two thumbs up and I definitely will be ordering more of this product to use to clean all my metal and plastic (fiberglass) items that I need to get polished or scratches out of. I hope its available in a large size because I will be ordering it.

The Champion for its Price
I recently bought and used Dremel 421 Polishing Compound and wow!! First, this product is extremely affordable. I bought it for only a couple of dollars. Next, this product does it's job. I've recently dug up an old stainless steel urn that was collecting dust inside my attic. I don't know why, but the outer layer of the urn was lathered with some foreign grease-like substance (probably having sat up inside the attic for years and years). I took it out and drenched it in hot soap-water for an hour or so. After I wiped it off, I felt like the metal surface was still somewhat dull and lifeless. The Dremel 421 polishing compound fixed that problem right away. If the urn before was a matted form of the original, the surface after the polish is definitely comparable to chrome. I know that this analogy might seem a slightly exaggerated, but I think that for those who need a quick shine on something miscellaneous around the house, this product is perfect. Make sure you wipe off the surface of your metals before using this polish for a more vibrant shine. Also, the Dremel 421 polishing compound has its own kit that you can purchase for a better polishing experience. If you are looking for some industrial quality polishing compound that can cost upwards to $200, this is not your product. But for anything else, Dremel is probably your best bet.

My rings shine again
Works as intended if you use a small Dremal or something similar. Value is good, small but only takes a small amount and your rings will shine like new. Easy to clean off of jewelry
