This is the best wrist rest ever!! I use it the long way, instead of horizontally, to support my wrist and part of my hand. It has enough give but supports your wrist and hand with a lot of comfort. I don't know what the material is but it's smooth and sleek and most importantly, doesn't attract hair (the bottom does so leave on the paper it comes with). Having dogs that shed a lot, this is definitely great. Plus it's cool to the touch so if your wrist or hand are a little inflamed, I think this coolness would help. I just can't say enough about it. It's the perfect shape, the perfect length and width, the perfect material and just comfortable and supportive. Definitely buy this wrist rest!!

This low-profile wrist rest was exactly what I needed to eliminate pain I was experiencing with my old one, which had a higher profile. The old style had worked for me for a long time, but then I started getting aches in my wrist and the thicker pad wasn't comfortable, but neither was working without a wrist rest when I tried that. Enter this nice little pad - just enough for a little support and cushion that helps my wrist stay at an ergonomic angle while I work at my computer all day. The surface is nice and smooth and has enough of a fabric texture to keep my skin from sticking to it in warm temperatures. I use this rest on top of a large, flat mousepad and I also found a low-profile keyboard wrist rest to complete my now greatly improved workspace and comfort.

If you are looking for a great and comfortable mouse wrist, Kensington has you covered. I like that is supportive and yet low profile. The material is like a synthetic leather like material that covers the area you wrist will lay in. The bottom area is weighted some to keep this support from moving around with ease and has great non slip surface to it. This is definitely my go to mouse wrist rest, but if I had to add a con to this is that the material up is thin. After many mouse clicks later and frictions due to usage, this material will eventually give in a break. The innards are gel and super sticky. It becomes unusable and you will need to get another one. Luckily the price is not too outside of reason for a replacement. I just with this wrapping where some mm thicker for longer lasting usage. I've had an assortment of mouse accoutrements through the years, and I have come to dislike the trend of "memory foam" everything, especially wrist rests. Over the course of a few weeks or months, the memory foam deteriorates and you're left with a puny wrist rest, either for keyboard or mouse. I purchased this gel wrist rest for a mouse, hopeful to skirt the whole issue. In fact, I tried to cancel the order, but I'm glad that didn't work out because this wrist rest is exactly what I needed. It's very stiff, no wrist sinking in on unnecessary memory-foam flimsiness. It's big enough that I don't feel that my wrist is going to fall off. It has a black matte finish, made to look a little bit like leather, so your wrist doesn't stick, and there is minimal light reflection. The bottom of the wrist rest is tackier (but not with any added adhesive) so it stays in place, but it will probably collect fur and dust. A simple warm water wash will keep it clean.

I bought this to use with my new 17 inch MSI gaming laptop. I was getting a very sore wrist as the laptop is pretty tall. This is tall enough that it is preventing the strain on the wrist. It is comfortable and not too hard, but firm enough to support my wrists. It is long enough to fit the entire length of my laptop without being too long. The curved shape puts the extra padding on the left side where I use it most for the WASD keys, but also gives me padding on the right for when I am typing and need it there also. It has a strong durable feel to it, but is smooth and soft. The bottom is shiny and rubbery and grips my lapdesk so that it does not slip and stays right where I place it. It appears to be well constructed, and considering the price, I would expect nothing less. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone with a large laptop or gaming keyboard.

It slips and slides all over desk ... mine is glass so not sure if that makes a difference. It is comfortable but since it doesn't grip properly, I've had to add double-sided mounting tape to keep it in place. Product claims "Non-skid rubber backing keeps the rest from slipping whether you're working or gaming" and I'm not a gamer so it's really just used for typical work-related typing. I chose to use a "fix" of my own rather than return it. Your mileage may vary.

It feels good on the wrist, and is fairly firm / not too mushy. The grip on the bottom is excellent - it does NOT slide around when placed.

Wrist rest has a luxurious texture, and the gel was soft. But unfortunately, after 1.5 years of usage, the surface has cracked revealing a sticky gel on the inside...

I have only used this for a week, bought this to replace my old non-branded wrist pad from eBay and this is a huge upgrade as it does not lose form as quickly and provides excellent comfort and elevation for my mouse hand.

Superb keyboard wrist pad. Expensive but worth the price.. This is my second purchase after 3 years of usage.. The skin will come out eventually but thats fine since using it feels very comfortable. For a small size keyboard, it just fits perfect.
