Best fertilizer on the market
This fertilizer restored my lawn, it is my new go to for regular feeding.

And it does work quickly and beautifully! My lawn is very sparse with compacted clay-like soil and it’s been difficult to grow anything. With Scott’s, I had a lawn in 10 days! I won’t use anything else again.

I started with a very weedy desert...if there weren't weeds there it was barren...this seed has gotten me a good start on this ragged yard of mine.

15% seed by weight
The product is composed mostly of soil amendments & fertilizer, in-fact it’s 15% seed by weight. Purchasing these ingredients separately will be a better option imo. Very inexpensive seeds are usually annual grasses that tend to die off over the winter months so mixtures with a majority of perennial breeds will usually work best in the long run.

This grass did not grow even though I watered it every night.
We had to have our sewer replaced last year it cost us $17,000. This year I used a rake and softened up the dirt that they had leveled out. I then laid the grass seed and watered it every night. The grass seed never did grow. I am requesting a refund. Thank you, Stella Owen

Takes time
This is a very convenient product for those with smaller lawns. The combination of seed and fertilizer works very well. Do not expect instant grass. We have had a cool Spring and I laid down in mid-April. Here it is the second week in May and seedling are just beginning to emerge.So, give Momma Nature some time.
