I purchased this calculator for my mother. She had asked for a largish calculator with large, easy-to-read numbers. She was very pleased with the quality of this calculator, and with how easy it is to use. She can read the large numbers easily. She also likes the large buttons.My understanding is that she has not yet inserted the batteries, and that the calculator has been working just fine on solar power.I hope you found this review helpful. I think this is perfect as a home/office calculator :-)The size is just right - If it were bigger, it would be... well, too big. If it were smaller, it would be a little difficult to hit the keys quickly and accurately.It's light - I used to have a Casio calculator which was about the size of this one. This one feels lighter.Battery - you know what AA is but do you know what CR2032 is? Don't worry it uses AA battery instead of Lithium Coin type battery. Also, you don't need a tool (driver) to replace the battery. Just open the cover and replace it.The number keys are in the left-bottom area (instead of being surrounded by other keys) so it's less likely to hit a wrong key to, for e.g., delete several numbers that you just entered.Ergonomic design - when I placed the calculator on the table and looked at the display, the angle was just right. And the numbers are displayed very clearly.It's a 12 digit display - you have lots of money and need to add big numbers? No problem - as long as you aren't adding trillions :-)I wouldn't worry too much about how an office calculator looks but to me, this one looks pretty (or cute).5 stars!

I bought this for my husband to keep on his desk at work. He had an OLD (very, very old) one which desperately needed replacing. It's very attractive and functional. The keys are large enough you don't have to squint to see the numbers and it's simple and easy to use! Great value for the price.

This was a gift for a child that requested a calculator. He has had it for a couple of weeks, and I haven't heard any negative feedback. I bought this one because it had large buttons, and the color scheme made it easy to see. Also the readout was large.UPDATE: IT WORKS GREAT, AND HE PLAYS WITH IT EVERY DAY ACCORDING TO HIS MOTHER. I MIGHT MENTION HE IS A VERY PRECOCIOUS FIVE YEAR OLD WHO LOVES MATH.

I've been using this once a week for over two months now and am completely satisfied. It sits on my desk and is large enough that it doesn't hide under my papers. It is powered by my LED lamp because there is no natural light, and the display tilts just enough to kill any glare. My previous calculator was flat and I usually had to pick it up to see the display, and it did not include the memory feature, so I tossed it out of frustration. This one has it all!

My desktop calculator died a horrible death. This was the replacement for when I just need to run some calculations (less than Excel needed). This fits the need very well.

The photo of the product shows a Citizen Brand calculator. That is not the brand I received. I received a “CTIFREE” brand calculator. It does work fine. The buttons are responsive and appear to be similar in the pressure required to populate the number on the display. Works fine be beware of bait and switch on the brand.
