Product does not last. I got a fraction over 1 year of use with this item and all 16 repellents no longer work. I contacted the manufacturer and they did not reply and amazon was not willing to provide replacements (which is understandable). They worked reasonably well for a while but for reasons i can't explain they no longer work.

These have not completely eliminated my gopher problem but they do seem to have slowed it down a little. So still worth the money but don't count on it being the only trick in your bag in the fight against garden pests!

These actually work.

This is probably true for all of the sonic mole chasers: I placed one at the base of 14 newly planted fruit trees. Nearly every single tree over the last couple of months has a mole furrow leading directly up to the chaser! It's as if they bait them. The moles then proceed to frolic in the root systems as if the chaser isn't even there until the tree dies. I've recently turned all of them off. They do not work.

I purchased this product to run my moles away. I'm not sure how well it works because I was also trapping them and finally got them all. In the mean time one of them tunneled into one of the devices and actually hit it and another within 3-4 inches of one. I don't know what that was all about. It's not like they were surrounded because I placed the devices basically on one side of them and tried to kinda push them away. You have to use some kind of stick or pipe to beat a hole into the ground and make a hole for it. You had better get it right because too loose would cut back on performance and too tight and you will end up breaking while trying to install. (should have included something to use) I still had moles within a few feet after about ten days. They may work well for everyone else but I don't think they did for me.
