Review: great, all day hold - Comb slides are so hard to find in shops in the UK these days, they must be very out of fashion. I decided to take a chance on these and they are excellent! They stay in my straight, fine hair all day without the need for readjusting or tons of hair spray. They give a better volume than a hair slide and look very unobtrusive. They are plastic but they feel fairly sturdy, I'm hoping they last a while. Only slight negative is that they are rather expensive for what is essentially just plastic, but given how well they work, I'm happy to pay the price.

Comb slides are so hard to find in shops in the UK these days, they must be very out of fashion. I decided to take a chance on these and they are excellent! I found these held for my 1940s hairstyle. I have very fine hair, these stayed in place for the whole time I was out. These are very small, but they worked for the half updo. I will buy the other sizes up for different styles. They are expensive but the teeth touch which is what keeps them in place on my fine hair, unlike others.
