Nugo Nutrition - Slim Bars Box Chocolate Mint 12

I ordered this as it has lots of protein at reasonable price without many calories. Importantly, it doesn't have gelatin like Pure Protein. The taste and texture exceeded my expectations. It tastes dark chocolatey with hint of peppermint and isn't too sweet. There are some crunchy bits as well like kitkat..not exactly like a wafer but equally good. I'd recommend this to my colleagues.

I've had to eliminate dairy from my diet and I can't eat wheat and these have been a great replacement. These are really tasty and have a nice crunch. One of the best vegan protein bars I've found for taste and amount of protein per bar without being really high kcal. I've tried four or five other brands and these have been the best. I tried a sample of the four flavours first. This and the crunchy peanut are my faves

Awful bitter taste and stale

So I’ve gotten these twice before, they arrived quickly and I liked them for the nutritional content and they tasted pretty decent (I’m not looking for a gourmet candy bar, it’s a protein bar with the nutritional content I want). This time though- I’m not sure if the seller changed or what because it took 3 weeks to get to me (the arrival time just kept going up) and wasn’t packed for freshness (the other times it was) and came with a million vouchers for stuff I don’t want like a wine voucher & cheese puff samples -I’m in recovery and allergic to dairy. I didn’t dock any stars for that of course, thats not their fault and couldn’t have known but it was a little icing on the cake to a otherwise frustrating experience. Anyway the bars are dried out as hell and not good at all. Shame bc I was happy to find something I can eat with my dietary restrictions & needs. I gave 3 stars bc the other two times were good.
