Yellow Motorcycle Disc Lock

My friend has a kryptonite disc lock and I was going to get one of them. But I got this one from bigpantha instead. The only difference I can see is that the kryptonite has an extra key but costs an extra 15 bucks! The lock opens up nicely and fits to the disc brake (I fit it to the front brake, but I guess it'll fit to either front or back). So now my ride can't be ridden away until the lock is removed - very simple! The orange 'reminder cable' is a nice touch, it connects the lock to the handlebar and it stands out so that your not likely to drive off with the lock still attached. It also comes with a holster which is cool, I ride around with the holster and lock on my jeans. I'm not going to say that this is completely full-proof - it's not, after all someone could in principle still pick up the bike and shove it into a truck and drive off. But it is going to stop 99% of opportunist bike thieves, which is the main thing! And in the end I bought two of these bigpanha babies - a blue and a yellow, I kept the yellow one for myself and gave my brother the blue one for his birthday and he loves it as well.

I purchased this lock as additional security for my motorcycle. The lock is smalled than I had hoped, but, that's a "me" thing. It did not fit around my rotor. So, make sure you look at your rotors to make sure it will fit. The lock is smallish but very sturdy. I definitely recommend this lock.

The thickness of the lock was too thick for Harley Davidson brake disc. It is a good solid lock and probably could use a cable with the lock. Wanted something little easier and little more convenient. Amazon gave easy refund.

First I want to say that the lock is working excellent. It does exactly what I need and having it installed provides a sense of security which is what I wanted. I know that the bike can still be picked up by a group of people and the lock can't prevent that from happening, but it does prevent people from just moving my bike and dropping it while they move it, which has actually happened as maintenance people think they can just move your bike out of the way as they try to get their job done. The lock also prevents the thief that thinks he can just take your bike in a moment of opportunity, and the lock is easy to take with me as it fits into my tank bag with no problem. I did have one issue with the lock, I don't know if it was intended for a different type bike/disc set up, but I have a 1998 Suzuki DR350SE that I'm currently using it on. The bike only weighs about 280 lbs (~130 kilos) which is why people think they can just easily move it. When I tried to fit the lock into the disc, I found that it didn't fit in the holes in the disc. Simple solution, I removed the rubber coating around the metal bar, and now it fits easily. I actually prefer it without the rubber padding as it slides in easy, I can position it to slide on the lock very easy, so I like the rubber protection coating being removed. I didn't see any options for ordering different locks by size, but I'm quite happy with this one regardless. I've included some pictures so that you can see the disc I have. Great job on your products, instructions are excellent although they aren't even needed :) I'll keep an eye on what you'll be offering in the future also! Dependable, durable and good looking products, all the things I look for.

Good lock, fair price.

Solidly built, thick and meaty as all get out! (as a lock should be) Larger than what it appears in the ad. Fits great on my Floating aftermarket rotors on my 2006 Harley Davidson Electra Glide Standard. I recommend this product.

Like the product strong sturdy. With that said did not like losing keys and business had no way to send replacements. Had to saw it with a skill drill by a lock smith.
