My bathtub’s overflow drain used to stop the water from filling all the way, so baths always felt too shallow. This cover fixed that instantly. It lets me add a few extra inches of water for a much deeper, more relaxing soak. It seals well, stays in place, and is super easy to use. Simple but makes a big difference.

I ordered the white version, hoping to have the product match my white tub. When I pulled it out of the package, and it had a very bluish tint to it, I was disappointed. I tried to show the picture up against actual white background or coloring. It is definitely more blue in person. It’s not the end of the world though. The product does what it says it will do. So far no leaking in my video which ultimately is the biggest selling point for me. But if you’re hoping for a white plug that will match your Tub aesthetic, I would not go with the white one, maybe the clear one would be a better choice. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because the white isn’t actually the color that it says it is.

As I sat partially submerged in my pathetically shallow bath, I once again grumbled about the designers and awful placement of the tub overflow (even when turned upside down to gain 1.5 inches of depth) and mentally proceeded to 'invent' a solution. A few minutes into that process it dawned on me to check Amazon and am SO glad I did! This thing is WONDERFUL! If positioned *just right* along my little curved tub, this thing is amazing! I needed to fiddle with the positioning first time I used it, but now have that dialed in and our family loves it! Many more inches of depth means no more freezing wet body parts. Paired with a bath pillow also purchased at the same time, I feel like it's one of the best $25 investments I've made. I have a chronic illness that often causes pain and these long relaxing baths after the chaos of bad days really help relieve pain, and that in turn enables good sleep. A bonus: if water sneaks in the top hole of this silicone device, it's really quiet, unlike the loud gurgling sound every time a drip of water slipped over the overflow holes. Not really sure of the science behind that - possibly because it creates a quiet vortex? Regardless, I can now soak in peace and am so thankful for the quiet!

The first picture shows where the overflow valve is and the second picture shows this tub cover. It is very easy to install and worked perfectly. This allowed me 2 inches more of hot bath water. That might not sound like a lot, but I was actually able to get my entire neck and shoulders down into the bath. This is a great product and it is highly recommended. One last thing it did not leak during the entire bath time. Oh oh 1 more last thing be sure to stand by your bath, and don’t let the water flow over the top of the tub.!!
